Ricecooker how'd you get 6x9's in there? Did you have to cut into the door's metal? Do you have power windows?

I did have to cut into the metal of the door a little bit for the magnets. They are in the only spot they would fit without sticking out into the passengers legs.
Between the old carpet & the new black carpet there is a wooden enclosure for the 6x9 that brings it out another 3/4". I needed that extra depth for the power window to roll down. The wood was shaped like this:

well, duh. anyways, the enclosure is rounded off on the edges and foam stuffing in between the two layers of carpet (the old stuff is a beotch to get off) so it still looks ascthetically (sp) pleasing.


edit: well, i guess the diagram doesnt work with spaces. LOL - it's better than i can draw anyhow...

Unfortuantly the paint is not color changing (just a nice reflection of the sun).. here are a few more..

They are 16's made by Mullins Wheels from Australia.. I will see if I can dig up an actual part number or model..
