I like the fastbacks (GT). I have an 87, that could be the reason. I think they look a lot sportier, and more stylish. But there are people who think the exact same about the notchbacks

At the risk of soundin like a pr!ck, if you are concerned about what other people think, buy a Honda. Otherwise, drive what you like.

I think we have thouroughly beaten this subject to bloody he11.

heres the results:

If you have only owned fastbacks, you will prefer a notchback
If you have only owned notchbacks, you will long for a fastback
If you have owned both, you will like the notchback better, because it is what makes it uniquely a fiero.
If you are new to the fiero world, you will want a fastback.
All your friends will want you to get a fastback.

not always true. i have only owned 3 fiero's and they have all been notchbacks, and i like the notchbacks better than the fastbacks. in my opinion the 85 GT is the best looking GT that pontiac made. i do like the looks of the fastback's , just not as much as the notchbacks.

I personally love both the notchback and the fastback equally for different reasons. But when it doubt, just buy both styles. I did

The notchbacks without the ground effects look ugly as sin to me. The notchbacks with the ground effects look decent but I've never considered buying one. The fastbacks look awesome and I have owned 2. I don't think I will ever buy a notchback.

So lets say you decide you like the notch's more (like me).. Now do you like the 84-86 Econo coupe, with the front and rear bumper-ette's? Or do you like the SE's with the Aero front and rear, and ground effects? Or do you like the 87-88 Coupe Model? Decisions decisions deciosions... Personally, 87 Coupe Body style is my all time fav, with the 84 Indy, then the 86-87 GT. I like the silver ground effects more then the body colored ones.. like i said, decisions decisions decisions....
