the whole problem with this is if they aren't board members they can easily switch their names yeah its a good idea, but I've seen numerious ebay users switch their names.
It's a lot better than the oversize surcharge of about $70 ON TOP of weight charge if you could get someone else like UPS to ship it, or the $150 you'd probably pay truck freight.
I am waiting for a dash from mr. Sybliss. I have my fingers crossed. I will let you know more. Ahh Keith...If you are reading this...here is a chance to redeem yourself.

What ever people want to think it is their choice of doing so ,there is always two sides to every story since but I chose not to be a part of this crap by passing assertions and rushing to judge one's character by what one or two people think and not looking over the whole scenario. You cannot please every one with every trans action and if a deal goes bad but I try to work with the person to correct it and with all my sales both here and ebay I have always given my name phone ## and address so if there is a problem and I am not on the computer they can call me direct. It is strange how some people can be so hypocritical they laugh in your face and then stab you in your back eg:Steven Rossi he was the worst customer I ever had to deal with and I will tell you why,I advertised two dash for sale and he replied if I had any $50 one so I told him no only $125 which was fair plus shipping it took him over 50 emails and PM before he sent the check in Canadian funds and asking questions like "how comes you are not living with your wife, why I have my name with different addresses (my son lives with my ex) at this point I was about to send his money back but I stood commited and shipped it by Fedex where I gave him a whole lot of free parts relays, washer pumpand little odds and ends and still ended up paying out of my pocket $58 for shipping and the box had fragile ,do not stack written all over it after it leaves my hand I am not responsible and especially with insurance for him to judge my character he needs to grow up and if you check all his post you will see what I mean A royal pain in the ass.I have done business with many satisfied PFF members who are repeat buyers who spend big dollars with me Archie for one and they are satisfied and and if I advertise and there is something they want they will buy from me again because I am straight up with them. Some time I have parts to ship and run into problems either too big or too heavy and I tell them do you want a refund or what case in point sold a Northstar motor to a member in Louisville and truck freight was $435 I met him half way and he was very happy, and if any one thatI am transacting business with right now and want their money back just say so I can put it on ebay and get more for it but it is not about the money. With Mike Murphy I was in the process of taking the machine shop to small claims court to recoup my loss for what they charged me for work that was done but that is another story ,so I will not change my name or hide because of a few $$ and I have nothing to be ashamed of and the big man has always opened a door for me and there is always bread on my table so as long as my heart is clean I feel good, have a nice day oh oh it is 4am catch you later.
Having a deadbeat list can be good and bad. As a general rule, I do not think people airing their problems in dealing with other people... especially over the net... does not belong on the net.
Bluemagic has a good point. There are two sides to every story. Angry customers all have different expectations on what constitutes good service.
I know there are some exceptional cases of people who chronically rip others off, and it may be good to air that to the community. However, a rant session about every joe, dick, and tom that ever slighted you in a deal is not the answer. It'll just lead to a lot of slandering, and probably flame wars. Neither of which this forum needs.
Two sides to every story? Send money no product whats to judge? Some people are scam artists and they know that they rarely prosecute mail and internet fraud. Dont try to be a lawyer and protect 'em. Like I said good thread- OUT>
Hey while you're at it, why don't you start a thread that points out everyones "flaws" on their Fieros!!
Then you could move on to bad "signatures" and maybe "screennames" that annoy you.. and finally crappy threads that only bring out the negative in everyone. HMMMMMMMM.. kinda like this one

I'm puzzled..... Keith you are taking the shop to small claims court to recoup your damages that you spent in the $300 range for the heads. You have no heads to back up your claim as I still have them. I offered to send you detailed digital photos of the heads with the valves removed to validate the claim and you never responded any more than you were going to talk to the owner of the shop. That was over a month ago and you never once responded to my followup emails until you read about it here which is not very flattering. Yes I have your phone number and you have my 800 number at my office which would have made it easy to call me..THE CUSTOMER. How are you going to prove your claim? If you were succesful what about my $221 that I sent in January? I'm sorry it got this far and I'm done with emails, posts etc. I would make one final post and that would be to reinstate your good intentions by you settling this with either a refund or replacement of mechandise advertised. As Strother Martin said in "Cool Hand Luke"...."What we have here is failure to communicate" At least I would like to think that.

Mike Murphy I bear no ill feelings towards you on this matter as you said it was a lack of communication on my side but before it went this far you could have called and say Keith what's up but you chose to slander me on something as grown men we could have settled amicably, you are a learned person and i wished you did handle it better. I dont need the heads to prove that a swap was made I have my and receipts and 2 witnesses and your email transcripts and I know I will prevail and at this stage forget the merchandise i would prefer to refund your money you keep the heads and I have nothing to be ashamed of but certain members Witchita to be specific you are a newbie here and you picked up the beating stick and tried to label me as a low life but as I said in my email to you I will always live good ,Im blessed and my heart is clean to my fellow man and will always hold my head up high and drive my Fiero ride my bike and go fishing ,Mike I will keep in touch you have my ### and i have yours.
I admit. This thread is a mistake. I thought it might be a productive and help weed out some of the scammers, but 99.9% of the people on here are true to their word and 99.9% of Fiero owners have strong bonds that connects us all under a common hobby.
I know this forum is design to help us all come together and communicate, to learn, to exchange ideas, and to build lasting friendships. Sometimes we act over emotionally and we all make mistakes.
Asking the Fiero brotherhood for forgivness.
Last work about deadbeats. It's life and there are some out there. If you get screwed take it up with that person.

No flames intended but, i noticed that those of you that think this is a bad thread have all said that you would not mind if this was about a person that was ripping people off all the time. Here's the big question, how is anyone supposed to know if someone is ripping off everyone if no one says anything about it?? Don't get me wrong, i do believe that people should try and work things out with each other but once one party has stopped hearing from the other, even after many emails and PM's what else is that party to do? How long should they wait? Months? Years? A phone call should have probably been made in the case above but what i'm really trying to get at is: the forum is a good place to keep everyone honest. With the possibility of having your reputation ruined here it does keep sellers more honest and helpful. Remember, no flames were intended here. This was just my opinion. <flamesuit on>

I also agree that scammers out their should be known... but I do not agree a post about them will accomplish that. Knowing this forum, you will end up with a list a mile long with everyone who felt they were not treated fairly in an internet deal. Such a post would be a huge flame war... they usually are.
Maybe have some kind of rating system? People could send in their "vote" for a scammer and after someone collected so many, their rating would drop. There are ways it could be done... probably more work than is worth for Cliff to do something of the sort.
Just be careful who you deal with... if your unsure solicit opinions from other people. I just don't like the idea odf keeping a post/list.

I agree, we do need a list of scammers that should be known.
I have been scammed by a forum member, and he always states that he has no idea what I am talking about.
I have been doing some research tonight about that individual, and checked out a Conquest / Starion forum that he is a member of. To my surprise I easily found dozens of people who were scammed by this person.
We had a deal on an IMSA spoiler, and when it came time to make payment and close the deal, he backed out.
He said he could not have dealings with me because of my religious beliefs. I'm a Christian.
Why does this matter? If he's negatively targeting a single group, others in the group should know to beware of him. AND, if it's not and he really feels this way, than other Christians should know NOT to try to deal with him.
come on Triad....... you can't just dis someone cause they would not sell to ya. the seller can refuse to sell to you or me or anybody for ANY reason. If they say no...move on and don't sweat the small stuff.

Im still waiting to hear from FieroGT87 Earl Rice. I sent him some roller tip rockers on good faith. He got them, according to my UPS tracking number, on June20. I have yet to hear from him since then. I just want to know if he is going to use them and pay me for them. If he does not want them, I would gladdly accept him sending them back. I don't like flamming anyone publicly but my patience grows thin.

There is a person here in the forum that sold me interior parts, I paypal'd him the agreed amount well over a month ago, pm'd him several times, emailed him several times. Still, no response. It was only $10 but it's the principle. I may have to create a post addressed to him covering this issue for all of the forum to see, just to warn the rest to avoid doing business with the guy.
