I first saw this car in '97 at the FOCOA Nashville show. I was really impressed with the attention to detail, especially of the interior. The "V-Six" over the piranha graphic is a nice touch, too. Jeez, this was so long ago I had to dig out the ol' hard copies and scan them in. What would we do without digicams?
All I know is what was posted to the technet and the emails I had with him which I also posted. He will be keeping me informed to the progress so I'll let you know when I do! HIOSILVER

Does anybody know what the size of the speakers in the door is? And how much rewiring has to be done to relocate the power controls from the center console to the driver's door?

Do me a favor and light a fire up under his (_|_). That interior and exterior is too well designed for its current production #'s!
Thanks! Greg

The Russians actually brought this car (red one) to the 13th FOCOA Nationals in Nashville, TN about 4-5 years ago. I inquired about the price of ONLY the interior and at that time it was $4,000 in kit form. As I recall, the whole kit was about $20,000. I seriously doubt you are going to see the whole kit go for $3,500.

That is what the Fiero interior SHOULD have been! Such a beutiful car on the outside, and a box on the inside.
There are probably enough people to do a massive group buy on this. I wonder what the price would be if you could get 50 or 100 people to go on a group buy.

The Pyranha kit appears to be using standard Firebird controls for the windows, mirrors and door locks. These controls are totally compatible with the Fiero, all you have to do is relocate the wiring harness, and run a new wire to the passenger side. With the dash out it's a piece of cake.

I also along with a lot of don't like that single stand whale tail spoiler, but I think I know what would look great on there. Normally, I HATE those aluminum spoilers. I usually find them UGLY as sin on cars, but, I think they would look rather wild on a car like this. The stock Fiero spoiler with stantions would also look quite nice if it had a sligh bend in the middle.

if this ever came out I'd buy the interior as long as it was less than 4,000. that yellow one f/ their old website looks like it didn't have the spoilers. a lot better looking

Helo!
Thank’s for information! I expect that price will stay around as predicted ~3500$.
We still waiting on answer from designers( they were not yet called me back )!
Production start, will require aprox. 1 month. Until we have received MOLDs.
Regards,

Juris,
Just to keep you informed. The fiero world here in the US is in an uproar right now over this kit. I am sure you would see huge orders right from the start. I know quite a few people including myself. I am on a list of over 5600 fiero owners and the response has been big to say the least. A few have concerns over pricing. Whether or not the price will stay on or around your guess. And when you expect to go into production. Do you have any ideas on a timeframe?
Thanks
Rich

I am glad to hear an update on this car. I emailed the company from the website and said I was interested, and never heard back. That was about a year and a half ago. Now I hear they might actually make this thing available! And for $3500! I will say though, that I really have to wonder if it will be able to be sold for $3500. If so, I'm buying another Fiero.
Thanks for the heads up.
First the 90 Fiero is rediscovered, now this. What a year for Fieros. Now lets have Pontiac announce the 90 Fiero is the new Firebird.
If they sell them that cheap, I can tell you right now that they're building them at asian-sweatshop labor rates and with asian-sweatshop quality. That's barely cost on any of the American-made kits. I would expect very flimsy fiberglass of very poor quality for that amount of money, if it is produced at all. It's a beautiful interior, not quite my favorite (Eddie Snaauw's beats it by a long shot) but even exchange rates aren't [i]that[i] favorable. I hope this isn't just a case of somebody taking deposits until someone calls the cops, because another big Fiero scam could really hurt the kitcar biz. If I couldn't drive there and put the body on a truck myself, paying COD, I wouldn't even consider it. With the fiberglass built over in Europe, you may never see your kit or your money.

One thing I don't understand about the Pirahna kit. What is up with the whale tail fin? Every single other thing about that car I love, everything. But that wing has got to go. Does anyone here like it? If so, why? I am interested to hear the other side of the story.
(I should preface this by saying that I wanted to put vortex generator "tails" on my 86SE, so I am kind of a hypocrite. )

That is both my favorite interior and exterior kit combined into one. They put the wing on the back because nothing is allowed to be perfect. I'd take a bite out of my college fund for that interior.

Yah I think it is pretty perfect except for that wing, it looks like shamu tried to jump over the decklid and didnt make it. The interior is tight as hell and the front is pretty tight except for the 3 square intakes in the hood since they probably aren't functional anyway.

*LOL* Shamu! I don't like the three square holes either, since the allure of the Piranha is the curvyness of it. I would prefer a hood where the hole is recessed and facing backwards, like the 93-97 Firebird hoods.
I don't think it would be $3500 either, but I also wonder if it is a pipe dream. You know the old saying: "If it is to good to be true, it probably is [not true.]"
