That is a very nice car and I agree with what someone before said about the northstar being a nice touch. When you get the chance show us some more pics. under the car as well if you can.

I should probably start a new thread to ask this question, but what all is involved when you turn a Fiero into a convertible?
I have read all this stuff about an X-Frame added to the underbody for strength. I don't know much about the Fiero's frame. Is the roof section Structural for other than safety (in a rollover)?
In other words... If I got bored and decided to cut my roof off, would I have to weld additional support onto the undercarriage?

In a word... "Yes." The roof is a structural member of the car. I've heard that un-reinforced convertibles will flex enough to bind the doors if you park with one wheel up a hill.

I'm not completely satisfied with the reinforcing job done on the car. I'm gonna do some more crossbracing. It also has a rollbar started , so I'm gonna finish that , which can help also in the reinforcement.
