Not the plaque on teeth but a brass plaque where the power window switches go. When I bought my fiero I noticed this plaque and was wondering if it was a dealer installed item? It reads "Custom built for Diana Cloud" and has the fiero logo to the left of the writing. Its a little bigger than a buisness card. Anyone else seen or have one?
I was looking to remove it but am afraid to because I don't want to break the plastic or might not be able to remove the residue from the adhesive.

If you decide to remove it, GooGone (limonene) or mineral spirits will remove any residue without melting the plastic.

Some dealerships back then would make the plaque if you ordered your vehicle from the factory. My Dad in 1983 ordered a Firebird and they gave him a plaque like that. He had it on the console by the shifter.
Diana Cloud probably ordered the car instead of buying it off the lot.

So has anyone else seen one of these? I guess I should just leave it there, if it is a dealer installed item. I still have the original bill of sale. The lady that first owned the car bought it in early 86 from a dealer in CA. She then moved to TN and traded the car in at a toyota dealership. From there the car went to auction and was bought by a small used car lot in AL and I bought the car off ebay and drove down to Al to get it (have copy of original copy of title).

Since you still have a title that matches it, I'd keep it there... it's a great link to the history of the vehicle if you ever decide to show it off at Fiero gatherings.

It's also pretty darn rare, from what it sounds like.
