I am so excited you will not believe the deal I got.
The car is an 86 SE with 140000 on the body.
I picked it up today and talked to one of the guys in the service department that came out and talked to me.
Seems the previous owner was getting the dealer to do all the work on the car and it had just a bunch of work done on the car. The tires are new, the paint job is new, it has an alarm but that is all nothing compared to what they told me next.
The motor is a new 2.8 create motor, it only has about 100 miles on it. I have only looked at the motor in the dark so I didn’t know what it looked like I wasn’t buying it for the motor. I opened the trunk and all the fasteners are new the paint on the block is new everything looks new.
I am stoked.

Here is how I found it. https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/025326.html

Now what will it take to get it on the road?

I need the slave cylinder bracket for a 4 speed in an 86 SE with a 2.8 and the push rod.
IF anyone has one of those let me know the dealer called all over Lakeland and could not find one.
The battery is dead but I will get one this weekend.

Sorry this is the only picture I have.

Rodney Dickman makes a reproduction slave cylinder bracket that is better than the original. www.rodneydickman.com Not sure where you'd get the pushrod...perhaps someone on the list has an old slave that can pull the pushrod for you...

I picked it up for $600 the lot didnt want to mess with it anymore and the sales department didnt know it had a new motor in it.
As soon as I get the clutch bracket from Rodney it should be on the road.

Took the battery down and had it tested, dead cell. It was so dead that I could not even jump the car. Now all I need is the clutch slave bracket and its on the road.
