Archie has mentioned before that he lists his cars on Ebay to advertise his business. It actually is an inexpensive mode of advertising. If someone will pay the price than he is still ahead of the game. Now the question is what is that price.

This is a sad day for PFF if it does sell.... I would hate for someone 'outside' of PFF to purchase this 'wonder' of a Fiero!! This is on of the top '10' Fiero in the World!! Archie... I hope Skitime is right and this is just for 'advertising purposes'.... Talk to us Archie, please put our worries and wonder's to rest.... Speech Archie...

You know, I have about 7 running street legal V-8 Fieros in my collection right now. I also have 5 or 6 of my own personal preject cars right now. Sooner or later some of them have to go to make room for more projects. In the past 16 years I've built myself about 45 V-8 Fieros, sooner or later each one of them has had to leave to make room for the next one. I've driven them to every state in the lower 48. Countless miles and hours of driving & yet some people still say they won't stay together & are unreliable etc. Never once have I been stranded in a V-8 Fiero, not once.
I actually use the products I sell and I refuse to sell products I wouldn't use myself. Unlike a lot of vendors who sell Fiero stuff, I'm proud of what I build, drive & sell. That's why I'm not afraid to show my face in such a public Forum as this. Name one other speciallized Fiero vendor who allows the public to have such access to their operations.
As far as the sale of the Stinger is concerned, let me say this.... I'm not going to tell you what the reserve is. A few months ago Moore had his NStar convert for sale & when many heard what he wanted for the thing, they had a fit, "How could anyone ask $39+K for a Fiero?". I don't feel like going thru that. I'll just say this about that, my reserve is a LOT lower than that $39K and higher than the auction starting price.
I have no problem keeping the car for another year because I really like it. But if someone comes along and is not afraid to pay what the car is worth, then I can be assured that they will take care of it.
When I sold the GBCT, I made a new friend in Joel Paton, & he turned out to be the ideal buyer because he took care of the car. That's the kind of person who will buy the Stinger or I'll keep it.
Is the Stinger for sale? Yeah it is.
Is it for sale cheap? No it isn't.
Is it a sad day at PFF because it's for sale? No, it's not.
Will a car be built to replace the Stinger? You can bet on it.
Thanks
Archie

Archie, can you make us a promise that you wont sell it to someone who will just lock it up in a garage and we will never see it again. By the selling the GBCT, we actually get to see it around regularly by the 2 people that have owned it since, thats great!...I'd hate to see the "Worlds Most Unique Custom" locked up and so that we will never see it again...anyways, good luck with it, I know your a cool guy and you wont let it go to the wrong hands.

a good thing about it is, if someone is willing to spend 20K (ish) on a fiero, they Obviously have a "Special Intrest" in Fiero's so you can bet that it will be tacken care of

I know you find a good home for the Stinger, but buyers of Fieros in that price range are hard to find. It's good to get the word out early before you really want to sell the car. It's true buy putting the car on e-bay a non PFF member could buy the car but I'm sure they would soon join up. Cars like the Stinger, PPE, Chris's northstar, and yes I guess I will include the GBCT are more than just a cars.....they are pieces of history.
