Funny anyone would think they were photoshopped or faked. It's obvious they are not old photos taken years ago. Pretty much every concept car (except the Fiero GTA) I've seen personally.
The Smooth Eldo was parked next to my Fiero at a show a couple years ago. The Buick Blackhawk has been on tour for a couple years now. It was at a show here in Flint for the last two or three years. I've also seen the Monte Carlow and Sunfire at autoshows, heck I've got a flyer for that Sunfire on my wall here and i think I've posted pics of it in the past.
I don't remember Hulki saying all the prototypes were crushed, maybe he did, maybe he was mis-informed, who knows. I've never thought they'd crushed the stealth car or this one especially seeing the pictures Fred got from Wes. Those pictures to me did't look to be very old.

Once upon a time there was this guy from the West Coast that we'll call, ummmm .. Eric. He worked a deal with a car museum to see what they called the "89/90 Fiero prototype". Sadly though, the museum people had their head in the stinky spot, for when they revealed what was supposed to be an 89/90 they were jeered by the crowd for trying to pass off an IMSA style car as the '89/90. The events that followed afterwards soured the event for some involved, however our story ends here - stashed away in the Pennock's Archives, accessible to anyone that wants to rehash the old history. I, for one, do not.
Kameo please continue and ignore certain individuals.
BTW, you have to give Eric credit for trying. It wasn't his fault that the Muesum , A car muesum at that, and they don't know what kind of cars they have. Thats all I will say on the subject.

OK... I've been watching this one from the shadows for a couple of days. I've heard people tell of the 90 Fiero being shown as if it were complete fairy tales. I've been disappointed many times (although not surprised).
At first I assumed this thread was a hoax, not a photoshop hoax (I know better than that)- but somebody posting some rare photos... but I have never seen these photos before (not even one from this setting), never these angles, and never with this clarity (and I've seen a lot of photos- even held Hulki's copies of the stealth Fiero in my hands last weekend). But this stuff is 100% real.
I'm highly amazed, and highly impressed. Kameo- can you email me full-resolution copies of all the photos (ZIP'd is fine...)? I'd appreciate it greatly. rob@xtralite.com
Thanks again Kameo... you've certainly gained my respect quickly by posting these.
Of course, thanks to Kameo for the find, but what's the next step? Yes we all want all the pics we can find, but the big news is this car exists and is being shown in car shows. That means GM is willing to show it. Someone on here with some club backing (CFOG-I, are you listening?) needs to get on the phone and find out what it takes to get this car at a show. We might also try to tell GM how enthused we all are about the car and that it would make a great replacement for the now dead Firebird. I doubt that would happen, but if they're showing it now, and never did before, that means they are looking to get some public feedback. Lets make sure they get that feedback!
Well I guess it's time for me to offer my humble apologies to Kameo Kid for doubting his word. It just didn't seem likely to me that there would be several proto-type cars for the 80's up at a street rod show. But hey what do I know. it's just like GM......show the Fiero proto-type at a street rod show where hardly anyone there cares about it, instead of at a national Fiero show where everyone would love to see it. I'm sure someone will dig up some information on where this car is and how we can see it. I made a couple of calls this morning , first to confirm that the car was at the Louisville show and if it was to try and locate it. I was given the name and # of the guy at GM who set up what cars went to Louisville. I was also told he is a hard guy to get on the phone. I was also told I was the 4th guy this morning wanting this information.............. I will pass the name and # on to Cheever3000 so someone with a little pull might get through{ President of a national club} Once again I'm wrong you are right, I'm a moron for not believing..............

Is it just me or does the dash look rounded in this shot? Was it a new dash in this car? What was the engine under the deck? 2.8 or 3.1([edit]I know you said the deck wasn't lifted, but did the rep tell you anything about it?[/edit])? Turbo'd or N/A?
Hehe, so many questions.

Nuff said, I hate adding to flames, but I will protect myself - this is all I will add to the subject that this "Jelly" individual brought up - Kameo, my appologies for intruding this great thread that you have truly done us a favor for by starting, though underserved for some.
------------------ ( the above was the thoughts, views, and opinions of a disgruntled Fiero mechanic, and do not express or imply those of West Coast Fiero, Fieros West, or any other organization - just that of this poor bastard ) :)
Eric, get a clue will ya! The problem wasn't the possible dissapointament, it was how YOU and your club handled the "visitors" AFTER the event. Why don't YOU go back and read the posts, we allready have. Now hush up and let this awesome thread get back on track
More pics please I believe where we left off was awaiting some sweet interior and engine pics?

In the 1990 Video (Available throgh FieroJohn-WI) there are some background shots showing a new rounded dash assembly- completely different from the stock original. Also, in that same video- a 1988 chassis and drivetrain was used, but a piece called the "Magic Plate" was added to the space frame above the rear wheels- where the newly designed body panels met and attached.
