I got my registration confirmation the other day, and it says I'm in class K, custom. Just letting you know in case it got overlooked. I'll be in class U, the work in progress class. Thanks

That can be resolved at the judging lanes by Fred (RAREW66 on PFF). No problem. Don't know how it happened, but I'm sorry for the mix-up.

Has any thought been given on providing a place to wash our car prior to the show on Saturday. After driving across the US then racing all day at Waterfords we will need a place to give the ride a bath. Will the Hotel provide a spot ?
Thanks !!

Intellicast.com says July 17th in Pontiac will be partly cloudy, with a high of 83º and a low of 59º. It doesn't look beyond that day yet.

Any hotel rooms available? If I bring my Fiero how save is parking? It would be my first time going to such a big event! Its not that my Fiero is more special its just the only one I have that runs! (lol)

Also looking for a caravan headed from Cinci, OH., Louisville, KY. or Indy, IN. Know of any?

Thanks!

I haven't received a confirmation yet on my registration
Also, my Indy will probably still have the Daytona rims and roof scoop on it so I will probably end up in another class than what I originally put down for.

Don't forget to order your very own 20th Anniversary commemorative t-shirts here: https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Forum1/HTML/031140.html

See ya there

Edited to update:

The guy that my Dad originally talked to had said that our reservations had been cancelled by a lady named Heidi. When my Dad asked why, he said that it was because the show had been cancelled and was being rescheduled in October.
We are having special commemorive t-shirts being made so we needed to know quickly if this was true or not.
Minngreen was first to say it wasn't and asked us to call the hotel back.
So, my father just got off the phone with the hotel "again" after demanding to talk to someone who would know what was going on.
They looked it up and found the person he originally talked to that had told him it had all been cancelled. They nicely opologized and said that just our reservations had been accidently cancelled and the guy made the mistake of then assuming it was because the show had been cancelled.
How he came up with october and all that sounds very wierd to me. Must be a Mustang owner! LOL
We want to opologize for sounding such a quick alarm, but you all have to understand that we had to find out ASAP if this was true as we have a bunch of 20th anniversary commemorative shirts being made up that due to a money problem the original purchasers ended up backing out of being able to pay for them. So my Dad very nicely is fronting all the costs for them on his own so they will still live and Fiero owners everywhere can purchase these sweet t-shirts.
We didn't want to get stuck owning a bunch of useless shirts with the wrong info and date etc, etc.
knowwhatimean?

As for the dufuss that told my father that crap about it all being cancelled, I guess it's hard to find good help these days
He better not be working the counter when we check in. I just might have a wet alt belt with me LOL

Again we opologize.
You can all go ahead and breath again now
Cliff, maybe you could make this thread just dissapear now so it doesn't continue to confuse anyone?
Just a thought.

See you all there everyone

Steve

Well, something was cancelled for me. My Fiero isn't going to be painted now. I put on my registration that it was going to be blue, but now it's going to be gray. Oh well

Uh, Steve, you gotta fill out & submit a registration form and send in the money, in order to receive a confirmation. I'm told that there is a form & payment from Russ, but not from you. If you have a dispute with this, take it up with IvoryFiero (Robert Holtz) - IvoryFiero@aol.com - 517-202-1449. Robert tried to make this reply last night, but kept getting the "rebuilding databases" message or whatever it is when this forum is busy.

Should we bring print outs of our PayPal reciepts just in case to show we paid? I haven't really gotten any kind of confirmation either for the show and banquet...just from the guys running the Waterford and Milan events.

I'll assume that the check got there ok, plane leaves at 7 in the morning, I'm going to be one tired puppy when I get to the hotel. Have to get up at 4:30 am to get to the airport, that's 8.5 hours from now.

Tons of pics have already been taken (be patient, most are still enjoying the day, there WILL be pics!), video has been shot, matching faces with names, travel stories are being swapped, bellies are full and they're cruising Woodward as I write this. In the few hours I spent at the hotel I can tell this is already a big success. Rain did threaten but only sprinkled now and then. I'm disappointed I had to leave to take care of mundane life but I can't wait to go back. At least 200 Fieros are already there. from the most stock (15 miles!!) to custom (insert your favorite/s). Those that couldn't make it, you still have time!!!

SO far from what I've seen the event is a HUGE success. At least 200 Fieros. Walking thru the parking lot last night I was in "Fiero Heaven." As a newer owner I am very impressed with the happenings as well as all of the fine Fiero's on display. I did not take my camera yesterday (DUH) but saw plenty that did as well as a couple of people shooting video. I will have a camera there on Saturday and will post pics on Sunday or Monday.

THANK YOU CFOG-I AND MICHIGAN FIERO CLUB!

When we got here about 3:30pm Friday afternoon and added our two to the growing crowd, we were getting reports of over 350 Fieros that were allready here.
They are predicting at least another 150 Fieros due to arrive Saturday morning.
That is a LOT of Fieros

Steve

I did send it in about two weeks ago now. So now I get here and they still say they have no record of it even though I have my copy of the money order with me to prove it.
So now I am out the money twice right now and to add insult to injury they ran out of shirts just 30 minutes before I checked in, so I guess I won't get one. They told me if I can find someone who has an extra one they might want to sell, I might be able to still get one that way
They should have not sold the "extra shirts" until they were 100% sure all registrations were all OK and accounted for.
What a way to run a railroad

Oh well, I won't let a few clerical errors bother me now, as we are having a blast out here

Steve
P.S. Anyone have a shirt they want to sell???
I will even trade you for one of ours
