GT-X Awesome work!!! You start off this thread so innocently then BAM!! you drop an incredible amount of cool stuff on us in one thread. Simply Amazing
I would like to see you put your talent into a custom interior. Wtih all that Bling Bling on the out side, your need some inside too.
By the way, in my custom interior, I fixed the radio too close to the shifter problem two ways. First, Jelly2M8 made a custom shifter for me, and second I located my CD/MP3/DVD player on top of the dash.

does the hood have any problems with clearing the over flow bottle? i ask, because my hood is similar in "depth" and i either need to lower the overflow botle or move it somewhere else, i was thinking of finding a smaller one just curious as to if you run into any problems

Wow, your description of the car to me on the phone doesn't do it justice. You gotta see the pictures to really get a concept of how it all works together.
As I told you, I did a wing like that several years ago but mine didn't come out as nice as yours did. We can't wait to see the way you did the decklid hinges.
Way to go.

btw rich i gotta go in to work today so i didnt get a chance to snap that pic ill get to it tonight or tomorrow but till then you can check out summit they have a couple different styles. The only thing critical is when you mount it the top has to be a little above the top of the radiaor or the overfow wil overflow lol
i dont have a spare tire, so i was thinking of just re-locating the stock one on the other side of the wall, or like my mitsu. has a nice slim one with a nice clip on bracket that would work well and i could pick up from the junkyard for next to nothin and that would tuck away nice and clean buy ya, id sure like to see pics of what yours looks like if you get a chance

OMG!!!!!!! I LOVE it!! that is awesome, I've been wanting to paint my whole interior black too but was afraid it would be too much, now that I see how it looks I'm totally going for it!

Oooh, cracked sail panels. Are you going to get some custom ones from Paul McKibben? All hopes of subtlety are gone with those body mods. How 'bout license plates that say (number zero, like in England they say 'naught') 0 A 4 R E ( 'Not A Ferrari')Everyone will think its 'Oh, a Ferrari' but you'll have to educate them. As we all must do...

Need more pictures, must have more pictures. Is the body assembled yet? Can it be photographed all together?
Sorry but this is an intriquing project, probably the distinctive notchback since the wide body N* from a few years ago. (don't count Archie's chop tops because they have modified structures as well).
wow dude, that is sweet, exactly what i wanted my interior to look like, too bad i only got it 50% done, oh well, se la vi i love all your work! its so awesome to see what one can do to one of these little cars. keep it up! ~Mark

i thought about trying that but didn't think i could pull it off. for the less skilled like me there are a couple of f40 style wings for late 80's mustangs that fit dementsionally pretty good. and they'd mount to the trunk so you don't have to get as tricky with working out opening the lid.

I've gotten to become pretty good friends with GT-X and I must say all of his ideas are RIGHT ON!!! I am doing a 3.8 SC swap and we are tryin to help each other get our cars done for the 20th show. He knows his **** when it comes right down to it. I just hope he helps me with my hood and spoiler when I am ready for it LOL. I just can't wait for both of us and the other guys in the area with 3.8 SC swaps and V8 swaps can all go out on the town this summer and make fun of some mustangs and camaro's with the lil rockets.
