Yeah, I can't wait! I allready got all the time off work over a month ago. Any parts you guy/gals need, we have a yard with like 30 Fieros so alot of parts. So while you are here you can take advantage of it. It WILL be alot of fun. Just make sure to charge your A/C before you leave and check your coolent. And anyone wanting Vegas info just ask and I will try to be of some help.

30 Fieros? Why aren't we doing a drive to your house? Why aren't we just doing the *show* at your house? Got any shade? Got any beer?

Not my parts and their not in my yard. It's our club here. But bring your tools. They have some for sale too, but they need work. Not much on shade in vegas due to these damn palm trees. But as for beer it is everywhere 24hours a day. The best place for drinks is the Mermaids casino on freemount street, small casino but alot of cocktails. Not good for winning but the best for FREE drinks. lol

I love Fremont Street. We always spend at least one evening down there for the light show and dinner at Binions. The buffets all over town are cool but if you want an old style huge Vegas dinner, the T-bone at Binion's is the winner!

OH! Yesterday I went down to Hurricane Harbor (Six Flags water park) and just happened to find out something that might interest some of our Vegas visitors! I met a guy named Tony Todd who is an actor. I know you have all seen him. He's hard to miss at 6'5"!

He has played on several Star Trek episodes and over 50 movies, including Platoon, Candyman, and The Rock... Great guy!... Anyway... The Annual Star Trek Convention is also being held in Vegas on August 1-3 at the Las Vegas Hilton. Tickets are pricey at $31 per day but the list of names who will be there is impressive.

Well folks, we have 34 this morning, instead of 32! That's assuming that the gentleman from Michigan, and the gentleman from Utah both show, and don't consider it too long of a drive! It will be kewl if we get all these cars to show up.

Has anyone thought of doing anything with signs!? Like A-Frames or anything to put places for the people to know there is a show going on!?

For anyone who is interested in going to Vegas early...

Since there is no one from Central or Northern CA joining in on our part of the caravan, Rie and I have decided to go on to Vegas early...

If anyone wants a little more time in Vegas at a great deal, log onto Expedia and take advantage of 2 for 1 at Palace Station. Their weekday rate for the week is $35 so we get two nights for $35! We have stayed at this hotel a few times and it is very nice! Just thought some of you might want to take advantage of this...

When are you thinking of leaving? I was considering leaving the bay area around 2pm or so on Tuesday, which would put us in Bakersfield around 6pm or so. Is that too early to caravan with you?

the palace station even has the buffet at $6.99 on specail now. If it is like the other stations casinos is should be big. oh and the best buffet in town is at the Gold Coast next to the rio... it is under ten bucks too. I havent tried the Rio...it is supposed to be the best but it is over $20 a person...what a ripoff

Well, we are in desperate need of a 4-pd Muncie Tranny. We found one here locally, after like 2 hours on the phone, and we are going to pick it up tomorrow. However, if the tranny is bad when we get there, we will still be in need of one. I will keep you all posted tomorrow!

Damn I keep missing all the good shows this year damn clutch. I lived in Lost Wages about 2 months ago for 3 months. I worked for Green Valley Security wich is over on Patrick Lane and I know a few good places to stay if the Place you guys are staying fills up. Budget Suits if you find one near there is a good place to stay for a weekend. I however have A friend who lives there and could stay with him durring the show but I need a clutch before I could do that not to mentinon that since I have move back here I have yet to find a job.
Its too bad that the show dosnt start till Saturday cause if it were to start say friday those who want could run over to the Las Vegas Motor Speed way and for a small fee run your car there all night on the strip as friday nights are open to who ever.
BTW for those who live in Vegas I lived over by Sahara and Eastern on Karen Street and I worked at the Cobblestone Creek apartments as Security across from the Hardrock Cafe on Paradice wich is next door to Terribles Casino on the corner of Paradice and Flamingo.
When I first started working for Green Valley there they had us working for NBC they were doing what they were calling the Vegas project with James Caan and it was being filmed at Mandla Bay... Damn if only I could have goten that job out at Lake Mead working at Callville bay I could have reserved you guys a Big 70 Ft party boat for 15 bucks a day.
If only I got that job I could have lived at the lake for like 125 a month workers special Trailers out above the bay

Guys if you want a good Car wash if Terribles in Vegas is still offering it as they were when I was there Stop at the Terribles on Tropicana just off of Eastern they were offering a Free car wash with an oil change but when I was there you had to get your oil changed at the one at Tropicana and they would give you a Copon and you had to go over to Terribles on Flamingo and Maryland Parkway to get it washed just worth it if you guys cars get dirty on the way to Vegas

That was my favorite book for years until they hosed it up when they revamped it. Do you gamble, specifically on sports?

We are flexible on what time to leave. Let me mention these times to Rie cause she knows more about what times the desert traffic gets bad. We've accidently left Bakersfield around 5PM before and it was horrible! BY 6 should be thinned out a little. We'll definitely join in though.

I'm just getting a few extra days in Vegas while you boys play with your cars. You're lucky that I am not bringing my car this time!

Well folks, I am in the process of making the signs for everyone for their checkin. The signs will basically be printed out with the specs that you gave on your registration forms. If you would like to change or add anything, you have until this evening. Send an email to fieroprereg@yahoo.com if you would like anything changed.

Also to let everyone know, not one person has asked, but just FYI! On the registration forms, the personal information that was asked will *NOT* be printed on the signs with the exception of the city you live in. Anything else, address, phone, email, etc. will only be kept here, so that we can update you folks when we have the next car show, or an upcoming event, etc.

Just thought I would throw that out there before people started asking!

For you Vegas guys... Some of us will be getting into Vegas on Tuesday evening.

Rie and I are staying at the Palace Station Tuesday and Wednesday nights, then to the Imperial on Thursday. If anyone wants to get in touch, ask for Dale Houston.

4 speed huh.. we have a few....The hard part is pulling it, but there is some here. Both my wife and I have the 4.10 4 speed. I had a 4 speed in my last one but it sucked so I swaped it for a 5 speed.(It wasn't the 4.10) I like the 5 speeds but this 4.10 is quick and has power through out the rpm range. It just revs high on the freeway. They need a 5 speed 4.10 that would be great.

We *were* actually looking for a muncie out of a 4-cyl for the different gear ratio, but after running from West L.A. County to East Orange County, we came up with one today!
