VS8 is probably V58 - Luggage carrier, deck lid

E5Z Speedometer Gears, Less Adaptor

YT9 Fisher furnished parts (probably the 'body by Fisher' placards!)

The 6,7,8, and 9 codes are spring rates.

The D4x is probably a speedo gear. Most are N-Q. Same thing with D9D but not sure why it would have both codes on the same car.

No clue on W89... unless it is W69 for the SE. Or possibly WS9 for the 'high mileage coupe'.

I know when I read my codes to make my old sig, I had misread a lot of the codes and Paul Vargyas let me know what they were.

It also has
M19: 4 speed Manual transmission Muncie 4.10 ratio
MM4: manual 4 speed transmission
FW5: transaxle final drive 4.10 ratio
and
71U: red, upper of two tone
71L: red
so I'm not suprised with the duplication. It was built by GM, after all...
Thanks.+

Don't know how rare it is but it was only on the early years. People always take them out of cars in junkyards to dress up their later year cars.

All GM cars used to have "Body by Fisher" on the door sills with that picture of a coach. I am not sure when they stopped using that across all the GM lines. Fisher was a coach builder, started out making horse-drawn coaches and then becxame part of the GM family.

Here's another one. It's probably the same info that Eric posted but it's OCR'd into text instead of images. Some of the links are broken, but a lot of stuff is there.
