No I haven't painted them yet. I had a heck of a time trying to remove them and it got to the point where I thought I was going to break them so I gave up (temporarily). I do plan on fighting it and winning in the end but maybe not until next summer. I'll also need to buy that special tool to remove the seat belt so I can take the pillars out completely for painting. As for the lower inner-door trim, I was worried my shoes would scratch all the black off from going in and out of the car, but now I see how durable the paint really is and plan to paint those as well some day. Good eye

...Hey, why not a few more shots to celebrate page 3!!

Savagery: I actually like/prefer the smoked mirror look but that is a great idea though.

Thats right, I totally forgot about removing the seatbelts in the pillar. I had the same problem in a previous car and never got around to removing them. What is the tool exactly? Could it be rented from Canadian Tire?

I think its just a T50 Torx bit that you use to take that screw out.. seatbelts should come right out.. unless Im missing something. I havent tried it yet, but it should work

I see, thanks for the info. Might as well bump this thread while I'm at it. Flashy's car deserves some more people viewing it.
