Just in time for the show!!!! Working with a few people that are coordinating the 20th anniversary event in Pontiac Michigan, I was asked to create a T-Shirt design other than the one you may get when you register, that would be more available to the general Fiero public for this Fiero event of a lifetime! The 20th Anniversary Fiero show in Pontiac Michigan. After a variety of different designs were created, here is the 20th Anniversary t-shirt design that was picked and is now available for immediate order:
Sizes range from small, Medium, Large, X-Large, 2X and 3X. Prices are $15.00 each (not including shipping) for all sizes except 2X and 3X, which are $18.00 each (not including shipping). Shipping is an additional $5.00 up to 3 shirts per order. If however you want to pick them up at the show, but order and pay for them now to guarentee that you will have one (or more) reserved before they all sell out, send us just the amount for the shirts and we will reserve the shirt(s) for you to be picked up when we arrive at the show. Quantities are obviously very limited (and extremely limited on some sizes allready) on these awesome looking 20th anniversary event shirts, so get your orders in quickly. You don't want to be the only one without one of these "Once in a lifetime event" collectable t-shirts. Please, money orders are preffered as personal checks require extra time to clear. We are not set up to take credit cards or Pay-Pal, sorry. Send payment to: Russell Kelley 442 Stage Rd. Plainfield, NH 03781
Make sure to put on a slip of paper inside the envelope with your payment your full name, full address and (optional) phone number. If you do not include the extra $5. for shipping per 3 shirts then we will assume that you are picking them up at the show. If you have any questions please e-mail me at: steve.kelley@dresden.us and/or russell.e.kelley@juno.com
Show your pride and love for our unique and great little mid engined historic automobile as well as owning a 20th anniversary event collectable t-shirt at the same time
Cool, can you reserve (1) Large for me if possible? I'd probably be picking it up at the show.. I'll get a money order off tomorrow for $15. Thanks! - Bob Williams

I'm going to get at least one or two of these myself. But I want to make sure everybody understands they are not to be confused with the "officlal" event t-shirt which you ordered from the registration web page, and which you can purchase at the event.
Variety is good, so we encouraged clubs & individuals to provide other merchandise to commemorate this event - as long as they don't use the event logo (seen here). Steve's design was the one I picked (on behalf of CFOGi) for another shirt option that our club would sell, but we had to put the project on the shelf when we realized there was not enough money to pay up front to have them made.
So Steve has gone to the trouble to arrange these on his own. I hope you'll reward his time & effort by purchasing them as a souvenir of this occasion.
Put me down for a XXL. I'll probably get some for my kids too.

Yes, these are not the shirts you will automatically receive as a registered participant. These are the commemorative event shirts seperate from those that were designed in conjunction with CFOGI and others.
They are going fast so place your orders.

Yeah, I figure up to a few shirts at the same $5. shipping price should be OK. It's all based on weight, so the more shirts in one package obviously the heavier that package is going to be and so will be more to ship it. Anything over 3 shirts and then you need to add more to the shipping cost.
They are going fast. Besides the growing sales posted on here we are also getting many orders via e-mail.
Thanks for the shirt orders so far everyone and keep them coming

I was just reminded that Hulki will be autographing stuff at the show. How cool would it be to have Hulki autograph your brand new shirt(s) at this once in a lifetime Fiero event? Think about how great it would be to not only own one or more of these high quality 20th anniversary commemorative shirts, but to have them autographed with the father of the Fieros own signature in permanent ink on one or two or three of them!

Most automobiles that have come to the market in the past fifty years or so, have done so without a great deal of fanfare or credit directed to just one person. Stories of successes or failures in the au- tomotive market usually do not dwell at length on any particular individual within any corporation. T he best exception to this rule, probably is the credit given to Lee Iaccocca for the great success that the Ford Mustang was to that company. While he was an executive at Ford in the early sixties, he was in the position to become involved in the birth of Ford's "Pony Car" and because of its success in the mar- ketplace, he became known at the "Father of the Ford Mustang." Lee was not a gifted engineer or designer, but was an expert at product planning, and knew his way around corporate politics. Thus he was able to be on the ground floor in the early stages of the Mustang's development and have the power to approve much of it's planning. He also knew how to influence Ford's bean counters and Henry Ford II himself, on important decisions to keep the Mustang project going.
Hulki Aldikacti was very much different in personality, and was also from a different cultural background than Lee Iaccoca. Still, he achieved a similar type of fame, and became to be known by many in the industry as the "Father of the Fiero".
Born and educated in Istanbul, Turkey, Hulki earned his bachelor's degree from Robert College in Istanbul and his Master's in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1955. He worked for a brief time at the Packard Motor car Company under chief engineer John DeLorean and later in the following year, followed him to General Motors. He worked as a senior project engineer in GM's advanced design engineering facility and later on in chassis design and development. Hulki worked on a number of ex- citing sports car concepts, but none ever saw the light of day until the Fiero project came along.
He also earned a M.B.A. inbusiness admonistration from Michigan State University in 1968, and in 1969, became an experimental engineer. He then spent se- ven years in chassis design and development before moving to the Corporate Design Staff (previously call- ed GM Styling) in 1976. Two years later, he moved to Pontiac to head a small advance vehicle engineering groupe. There he worked with Edward Falardeau, a brilliant design engineer, on the "F" Camaro/Firbird project and GM's first large front-wheel drive B/C cars. It was there that Hulki got wind of a 2-seater project. It was exactly what he dreamed of doing, and he never rested until he finally became invo- lved in what eventually became the :P-Car" project, later to be America's first 2-seat mid-engine sports car named the Pontiac Fiero.
...and now we know that the "P" in "P-Car" stands for "Parki"
Update: The smalls are almost gone and the mediums are getting extremely low, but the L and XL are still looking good (at the moment) and the 2X and 3X are OK at the moment.

Hey, I'd also like a large but the money wouldn't get there in time if I sent it so could you hold one at the show for me and I'll pay you there? I'll also be arriving sometime Thursday afternoon. Thanks.

I want to make sure everybody understands they are not to be confused with the "officlal" event t-shirt which you ordered from the registration web page, and which you can purchase at the event.
Just thought I may need to repeat this, so nobody is confused. The "official" event shirts will have the logo shown here... http://www.cfogi.org/anniversary.htm
Edited... sorry, I don't mean to undermine Steve's sales.

Uhm, I think I explained that allready at the top of this thread. If you would like to advertise these other 20th event shirts Cheever, you gotta start your own thread
Just so there is no confusion with the shirts we are selling, they were designed and created in conjunction and working directly with CFOG International. The idea was to have a second 20th event shirt available with a bit more of the Fiero event flavor in it for not only show goers to be able to purchase, but available for other Fiero lovers everywhere. A little history about this design. The 20th anniversary text also represents the Indy 500 wall after one of the turns with the Indy Fiero pace car sitting on the track in front of this "wall".
The other parts of the design are pretty self explanatory with the date and so forth
We still have a nice selection of these shirts left. Anyone can purchase these as they are not just for those who attended.
As a bonus, we were able to get Hulki and Parki to autograph a bunch of these special 20th anniversary shirts. Some have both autographs and some have just Hulki. These are obviously priced a bit higher. PM or e-mail me if interested in these autographed shirts. We also have a few that come as a 20th anniversary special collectable set in a special see thru package with a 20th anniversary insert design in the package with the autographed shirt. Sizes and quantities on these are obviosuly extremely limited.

All of the pre-registered official 20th anniversary Fiero T-Shirts were sold out by Friday morning. The only 20th anniversary shirts that are still available are the ones we created in conjunction with CFOG-I. We have lots of them left in a few sizes. Large, X-Large & XX-Large. And as Steve said, he has some signed by Hulki and Parki and some just by Hulki. Large & X-Large are $15.00 + $5. S&H, XX-Large are $18.00 + $5. S&H.
The signed autograph 20th T-Shirts are extremely limited and are $50. each + S&H for both Hulki and Parki's autographs and $35. each + S&H for just Hulki's autograph. The signed 2X are a bit more but may allready be sold out. PM me first to check. They are going very fast so if you want a 20th anniversary shirt signed by Parki and/or Hulki let us know ASAP.
Russ & Steve K.
