A note from jetman,

We just got through celebrating with each other, the worlds largest Fiero event with over 400 cars, thousands of people and multiple events spread over several days.

There was so many events such as races, demonstrations, prototypes, driving courses, cruise nights, caravans to drive in movies, dining out, go-karts and even miniature golf.

I got to meet people who flew in from around the world, talked with folks who drove in caravans from all points of the United States and Canada.
I watched a "suit and tie" pass wrenches to "joe lunch box" under his disabled car.
I listened in as a very excited teenager described his first ride in a Northstar V-8 Fiero.
I got to see just about every modification that can be made to a Fiero.

Most important to me is that I got the chance to meet so many of my PFF friends and share with them this incredible once in a lifetime experience and that is something that I will treasure always.

This link list is my way of contributing to my family of fellow PFF members and to the world for that matter so that everyone interested can explore and experience vicariously the whole event through these threads.

I chose not to include the "judging results threads" because I felt that they did not truly reflect the wonderful relationship that we share with each other through PFF and this unique vehicle. Judging a vehicle is a subjective opinion and everyone's opinion is subjective in nature and therein lies the rub and the reason for the omission.

In the mean time I hope that everyone enjoys exploring the 100 plus threads I have assembled.

On an ISDN so 100 Megs takes a bit, heres one to hold you over.. Warning most pictures I have are 600K to 1 meg, my index page is thumb nails. I'll work on smaller pic's for dialup folks and post a link asap.

I'm astounded at everyone's reactions to the 20th. Even though we had a lot of great help (like getting the prototypes) and trying out some new things (like mixing performance with polish), still I have to say we also applied lessons learned from the past mistakes of others. So there's no reason why each annual North American big event can't be better than the ones before! But this one was pretty darn good.

I finally got home from the 20th tonight. I have around 400 pictures, and 173 of those are of the 90 prototype, including the dimension shots. I hope to start uploading them tomorrow (Thursday) morning. I'll create new threads, and send the links to jetman.

FYI, the reasons I made several 90 picture threads are that it would take a long time to load all the pix from one thread, and grouping them by subject keeps them organized.

No sticky anymore...

Thumb tacks just dont hold up very long.
Next time I'm going to use the duct tape!

It was an honor to help bring the 20th event to my PFF friends.
