well the last 8 months of my life were not a waste of time, I hooked up the last wires on the LT4 today, cranked it over, and it fired right up first try! must've been 6 hours ago now since i first started it and my face is hurting cause i still cant quit smileing. for those of you wondering how my "special" mufflers would sound all I can say is WOW! they're very deep and growly. well heres a couple pics of the engine bay almost finished, I still need to put on the front feul rail cover and install the bent pipe that allows my filter to reside in the wheel well behind my Meecham scoop

Looks good bud. I got your message on my C-phone tonight. Sorry battery was dead. I can't wait to go for a ride in that. My 3.8SC will be on the road come this wensday.... I can't wait to hear what my exhaust will sound like either. Give me a call tomorrow anything after noon will work. You might just have to come on down so I can hear it.

-Blown 2.8 -Undergoing engine swap to a new 2.8 Damn Motor is out, cleaning and everything and trying to get the new one together and back in, in time for the 20th.
thanks for the comments guys and as far as the 20th I might be trailering it there due to the fact that its a brand new engine and needs to be broken in. ok back out to the garage
I'm not going to be at the 20th anyway so I want to see pictures, get that thing backed out and snap a few from different angles so I can see what the whole package looks like.
If you need a truck to pull it up there tyler let me know you could use mine. I hope I won't need it to get mine back home lol. Mine will be on the road doing some blacktopping tomorrow. Let me know.

After you heat cycle the motor a few times in the garage it will be fine. Crank it and let it warm then take it to 2000 RPM for five minutes then back to idle for a few then up to 3000 for five then back to idle. Let it cool then do it again. Change the oil the it'll be ready. That's how race motors are broken in (RPM may vary). That's how Detroit does it. Just drive it! Otherwise we'll start calling it a "poser trailer queen".
For those wondering how it sounds all I Can say is it put a smile on my face just hearing it. The looks tyler will get will be just like the picture above. he did an awsome job.
Tyler thanks for taking the time to show me your ride.
