Wow it is nice to see it in one piece, I have wathced the video many a time of them putting that car together oh I love that car so much. I wonder how long it will take for people to start adapting the idea to our current day Fiero's.
Wow! It's so nice to actually have some new pictures of that car. It's amazing how finished it looks for a prototype. Any chance of getting some more shots of the interior (dash and radion console)?

the engine is a DOHC 24 valve 3.2 V-6 , directly from a recent issue of Hot Rod magazine
i heard there was never this kinda of engine? it was a prototype engine for the prot or something? i just remember something like that from that hot rod thread.

Na, na, the na, na. I Sat in it, beat that!!! , I also have pics, proving it, and a pic of the hot Fierochic in it. I also sat in the other prototypes, before the GM guys got mad and locked them down, but they reopened later on. There were a bunch of guys taking measurements of the 90, so I think a body kit is in order, but I repeat, its a different frame, at least in the back, not the 88 frame, the trunk is twice as wide. Let me post more pics with a nicer camera. The engine is a protoype 3200 DOHC engine. Also the one GM guy there mentioned that there is a mid engined opel in germany, that the General is in talks for bringing over, I don't know if it will go under the Fiero name though, and its only a 4 cylinder, but that could be easily changed . Pics of the 90 in a few. Well over 300 cars there.

1st of Many, there's Jen, or Fierochic88, she's quite nice, and her car is good, she ran mid 15's on the track, which was good compared to others running 17's!!!

Damn I wish I could have been there. Shame I couldn't get a frequent flyers points flight. I couldn't justify $3000 to be there otherwise. Keep the pictures coming.
Well we know the 3.2 never came out.. only in that car. Most likely when it was said and done I believe it would've been the 3.4 DOHC wonder what other motors were going to be in there for sure..

Well it is built on a derivitive of the 88 chassis, and has the 88 suspension front and back.
Looks like they extended the trunk, which would be a natural evolution givin the chassis design.
The 90 prototype build video shows a tray that was inserted in the dead space between the trunk and the tail lights, this extended trunk was a much better idea!
Great idea of moving the coolant pipes inboard, that would have saved alot of people getting crushed coolant pipes from misplaced jacks and lifts.
It looks like the 90 was farther along in the design stage than previously thought.

And here is the infamous 1985FieroGT sitting with a smirk on his face in the rather cramped backseat, yes I said backseat of this 1986 fiero. (4 seat prototype)
To tell the truth, this car sucks, there is absolutely no room in the back of the car, its cool cause it has duel radio's, but the driver seat squishes your legs, and cuts of circulation to your feet, this car was horrendus, it needed another 6" stretch to make it properly. To sit in this is worse then to sit in a Trans am, in the back.
