If you look at it from the front, the Pepsi Logo is in just the right place. Archie just took the pic from the wrong direction!

as much as i like that car and the orginal GT40.. that is one beast that i don't think I'd put a wing on. ( and i'm a wingnut ) I don't think that there were ever any wings on the orginal GT40's.. but I don't know it may look good.. just my $.02

edit: http://www.conceptcarz.com/folder/vehicle.asp?whichpage=3&sortyBy=&pagesize=8&car_id=1004&vehicleTypeID=0&PrintAllPictures=true
there were never any wings on the GT40 MK 1's, 2's or,3's

The car is NOT going to have a wing. I balanced the piece on the pop cans as a joke, and not a serious thought on adding a wing.

Don't worry! NO WING!

That is looking HOT Archie, I like the last set of rims the best on there, a simple 5 spoke design. The 2nd ones are too cheap lookin. 1st ones looks good, but are more of a "tuner" style rim.

Looking foward to more pics!

Door number three - it's an aggresive car design and the thrid wheel is the only wheel that's aggressive. Those wheels on your car also brought up mental images and thoughts of the new GT. It says, "I'm not trying to fool anyone into thinking I am an original GT40 or the new GT. I am something similar, something very special, and I'm a badddd mutha..."

Oh boy, if I'm like this at the beginning of the day imagine where I'll end up!

Archie none of those wheels match the tradition of the car I would prefer to see the Cragar Classic for a time when HP was the thing www.cragar.com/wheels_ccw.html . Series 61

Well, I checked the poll so far the wheels:

Set one- 3
Set two- 3
Set three- 6
Other- 1

Set three is at the front of the pack!

This is easy.......the first set. Why? not busy looking +You'll more than likely well see that "type" of mesh wheel on Vipers.....only bigger! Chrome would look better vs. silver color rims.

Second set are "dated" when small wheels ruled, however the New GT rolls with 19/20...follow thier lead.

Third set are too modern. Fiero yes, GT no.

If it was my car 19/20 combo chrome mesh style rims or like the New GT. Why settle for anything less?
Oh yeah, shouldn't it be (2) lines along the side with the GT logo in the middle?

Hmmm... I'm having a tough time deciding on the wheels! I almost think a more "retro" style wheel would be more appropriate (thinking Cragars with Knockoffs, but I'm pretty sure we can't get those for the Fiero bolt-pattern or offset) - or at least something which has more of a "deep-dish" appearance. Heck, how about something in Gold?

If I'm recalling correctly - shouldn't the car be on display by about now?

I'm partial to tuners (i.e. first set), but I think the car would look much better with a set of original or original-looking rims (the dark centers with big spinners). Barring that, you should go for some F1 tuner type rims.

BTW... Archie, that car is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!! You're doing some great justice to one of the best race cars of all time ( the GT40, not the Fiero )
