Best mod, that's simply. 1. Lower it. cheapest way is to cut your springs, not recommended if you don't know what you're doing. Buy dropped springs, Suspension Techniques, or Eiback, I believe ST lower it more, but Eiback's are suppose to ride better. Got money, buy coilovers springs and dropped front spindles.
2. Custom wheels, 18s are becoming the norm. Just remember coilovers allow you to stuff the widest wheels.

After that you have to decide if you want to go for looks or performance.

3. Got money, t-tops
4. rear deck lid scoop, Mustangs seem to be the favorite.
5. Side scoops, mild to wild, your choice.
6. Toss up, lower front spoiler or
7. front hood scoops to let air out
8. Paint job
9. Enjoy!

Of course before you do anything you should make sure you vehicle is mechanically sound. Most folks take several months, or like me several years to customize their cars. Just figure out a plan that fits interests and budget, and try and stick too it. Good luck.

Chin Spoiler $285
Rims $699
Roof Scoop $60
Stage II Side Scoops $340
Total: $1,384

Okay, so I was $384 off, and that dosen't even include shipping and paint. :-( too many wants, so little money.

question:
do you think it's worth it to spend $700 on rims now? would it be better spent on other body mods/paint? only reason i say this is because if in the future i wanted another body mod, i'd have sand and repaint and stuff. are the new rims really worth $700?

Alot of time rims make a huge difference in appearance. So it might be worth it. But remember tires too at about 100 per pop if they're good and low profile at all.

yes!!! wheels and tires make the car. i've probably got twice that in mine counting rubber..,and i don't even like to entertain what the ones on my show truck cost... but if i could find another set that i like better for the GT i would take the plundge again....i found a set that i liked better but there made overseas and not in the 5x100 bolt pattern..to get them made??....(big cha-ching)

Kameo, I say get the new rims and tires.

I'll tell you what. Since I'm such a nice guy, I'll even take your old ones off your hands so you don't have to worry about storage and all that nasty stuff.

Deal?

Okay, good...I'll pm you with shipping details.

If you're gonna pop for new wheels I'd wait until early springs, new wheels designs are generally released around that time. I think my next set will be chrome, or high polished alloy, screw subtel, I want some bling.

...can you be more specific? What kind of side skirts are you looking for? There's a link in one of my earlier posts about how RadRuss & I created ours...
