I am about to get a set of 300ZX headlights at a great price and would like to get some feed back from any one who have done it,there are some lingering questions like do I have to cut out the radiator support, fascia, hood etc .
There are some pics I have but I guess they were photoshopped so I would like to hear from any one who has done or doing this or any bodymen and fabricators as to the possibility before I purchase them.
Here is a pic.

I rememeber reading the last post about the headlights and them being just too wide... interference with the hood hinges is the major problem.

I am in the process of modding 'SmoothGT' and using the Sunfire headlight's...

I am having tocut everything you mentioned above...lol Not fun at all, but it is getting there....

I think there is a problem with the hinges and the 300Z light's but, it CAN BE DONE!!

Keep us posted as what you do might help the next one to try this...

I wish you the best of luck... all i can say is... mounting is everything... find the perfect way to mount them, your set, but think long and hard about where you position them

these are the lights for those wondering

and these are ones actually on a fiero

this is a future project of mine... bought the lights at a good deal, just got to get a parts car to use for test fit. I dont have the nerve or the heart to chop apart my car practicing fitting these

This is one of Reality's car that I photoshopped in. Kind of a quick and dirty demo, but I think the 300ZX lights would look good.

Are you using the late model "cat eye" versions? I've thought about those would look good on a Fiero, or even a car that is not a fiero any longer
