Your first picture was really a Fiero spice with a SD Pontiac. It won Lemans in C2 with Gordon Spice driving. If you look it has GM Emblems on it. It is hard to find pictures of this car thanks for sharing them.

As said before, thank you for sharing..... I love looking at vintage racers. Actually I would love to get my hands on one but is more than likely out of my price range.

Pontiac paid the money to Spice to develope the chassie and aero package. The Fiero parts are the nose badge, engine and I did see one race with a stock steering wheel. They did use a enlongated green house that did resemble a GT to a limited extent. The car had to look this way to be competitive with those in the GTP Lite [Grand Touring Prototype 3 lite and under] class where they all don't look like what they are. They were later raced as Firebirds with Small block Chevys by Pontiac in the GTP class [over 3 liter]. If you want one to look sort of like a Fiero look above, they race in the GTU class [tube chassie and modified stock body. In GTU they even used stock tail lights. I was lucky and glad I saw and sat in many of the factory supported cars at Mid Ohio in the 1980's. They were very good race cars at the time. But now I look back and wonder if they had spent the money on the car to upgrade it earlier could they have helped prolong it's life by a few years? I will see if I can get a good picture of my team Huffacker t shirt I have to post.
By the way the cars with cosworth power were in Europe or after Pontiac quit paying for the rights to the car. Acura took over in GTU and won a championship with a car Pontiac paid for.
Also note some styling ques from this car used on the 89 GTP prototype street car.

Taurusthug, two photos of the Spice Pontiac Fiero GTP-L for you. No. 24 is original Pontiac´s car for IMSA. Some parts of Fiero GTP-L styling GM used on GT 90.

Here is a picture of the 1989 GTP street car to compare. Also the Spice/veleze car pictured at the top was a Pontiac in 1987 and later went to Cosworth after Pontiac left the Spice team. Gordon Spice wenton to win the C2 championship with the Cosworth. He also is the owner of the company that built the cars in England.
Wow! How did you get that! I would love a copy of just the picture and have wondered how to get one. I am guessing that they were only given as awards. I have seen two others. One was in Paul Vanderley's shop (he build the SD4 motor ....and mine....) and the other was on the home office wall of John Callies (former manager of Pontiac Motorsports). I am VERY impressed!

Believe it or not I got it off of ebay last year. The person selling it used to work for Spice Engineering. Here is his reply to an email I sent to him asking him how he got it.
I was designer at spice in the latter days. When Allard bought out Gordon, I was retained to run the new spice company. The print was on the wall in my office. When allard went broke I tried to keep Spice buoyant but to no avail. When I left to go and work on the Cavaliers at Ray Mallocks I took the picture with me.
Here is another watercolor I also got off of ebay.
You see them on Ebay from time to time. I have one of the GTP and the GTU. They were given to the dealers as sales awards I brlieve. My GTU (1210/2000) was given to Tom Kirkpatrick Buick Pontiac in Western PA and my GTP pic (42/1500) did not have it's original frame so I don't know the dealer but if I recall the original owner said it came from a dealer near Detroit. The GTP Fiero with Gordon Spice's name on it is a find. I'd think that would be a low number. Alright who has the lowest numbered print?. Anybody beat 42?
