Do they take this car to shows ? If not they should. It would be amazing to see baby at Daytona.

Another really cool car! Does anyone know if those front fenders are DGP? I've never seen them. I like the oil tank in the front for front weight. I bet the car is balanced pretty well with the weight of a V6. I'm starting to think I should have built a 6 instead of an 8. Nah... Does the car in Canada have any racing history? Is the frame a real Huffaker? (There were about 10 sets of prints sold and I know of some cars built other than the Huffaker cars) Back to the Dingman car. I really like the opening door. (well duh.. ) I think I should modify mine. I never really thought about it because I only use it for track days and (hopefully) SOLO I events. Those guys ran endurance races and changed drivers. Both cars are giving me lots of food for thought. The Dingman car is my all-time favorite racing Fiero!
Tim great looking car, those front fenders look like they flare out much more then the Valvoline car. I know that there is another Spice Huffaker car in Puerto Rico and is raced by Jorge Diaz Jr Racing. Oh and by the way I don't think your hi-jacking this race car thread, the more history the better...What vintage class are they racing in...

I have to say the front end set up on the Dingman Brothers car is completely different then the car up in Canada and I have to agree with Craig that the fenders are better. Take a look...
Why wasn't this little event mentioned at our January meeting? Man, I would have really liked seeing that thing in person. Do you think there's a chance to have it displayed at the Daytona show?
Ah, that Dingman Bros Fiero is a beauty. I think I need a towel....
I have a buttload of pics (and short video clips) of that Canadian Huffaker Fiero. A certain PFF member was nice enough to send them all to me. You can check 'em out at this web folder. I'm only on cable, so don't dogpile my little server too bad.

Blacktree >> heh, I forgot that I had that many pictures
...the pictures on the link that Blacktree posted: IMG_0010 is the serial number of the car (009) MVI_0019 - 20 are of it being tested on a runway (local club rented the runway for some road racing) MVI_0051 walk around of the car in the shop
The car was brought up into Canada a few years ago from Puerto Rico, restored and started racing in 2002. The owner had raced in Fieros since they came out (he still has lots of super duty parts). Here is a quick picture of it on the track in Calgary for a race (he was leading the race till the end due to a spinout, but still came in second - black Porche was first).

and here's one of the rear:

Sorry for the late notice but I had to take this one anyway I could get it. I only was notified on Wednesday night and I had to work late both Thursday and Friday. No time to call anybody by the time I got home. Left for orlando at 7:30 am. Have got a lot of pictures though and I'll burn you a CD. Sorry!
