I was looking through the massive pictures on yahoo images and came across these.... I take no credit for these pictures. under the picture it says.."dont ask".....lol and this one,
Two reasons why a Fiero is a natural for a trike conversion. One is their plentifulness at cheap prices, especially for the '84s. The other reason is that with the drivetrain completely self-contained in the back of the vehicle it is incredibly easy to make a trike out of one.
Doesn't mean that I like it, though I've seen some really creative ones:
My brother built a 3 wheeled vehicle, he showed it at a couple car shows. He started the trike web ring http://geocities.com/indycycler/index.html and you can see his invention here (note: no Fieros were harmed in the creation of this ride): http://www.indycycle.net/index.html there was some controversy when someone else started building 'kits' that looked very much like his but with ungainly scoops on the sides...ah, here it is http://www.indycycleonline.com/ I don't know about the reference to copyright infringement that was never an issue.

wkayl: are you sure that isnt sitting in your backyard?...lol
No it is not, but it belongs to a friend of mine in Minnesota. He had a funny story the 1t time he took it out. It is titled as a motorcycle. He was stopped by a state trooper for not having a front bumper. He told him he didn't need a front bumper on a motorcycle. (as a side note this vehicle was inspected by the state in order to get a title). The trooper then tried to get him for no eye protection. My friend pointed out that the windshield was protection. Then the subject of seat belts came up. Again it was pointed out it was a motorcycle. In the end the trooper said, "I just don't like it". My friend asked him if that was his professional opinion or personal opinion. The trooper said it was his personal opinion. My friend said "Thank you", asked for his driver’s license back and drove off.
Thats a great story and I wouldnt mind hearing the troopers side of it, when he decided to pull it over. Wonder what he would have done on the paperwork......car....motorcycle,....car? lol
