I found these pictures in a 1988 "Pontiac Road Cars" book. I havent seen most of these pictures before so I figured I would share. I hope you like them. I will write the captions that go with the picture numbers as well.

#2: Steve Durst and Mike Brockman co-drove this Fiero GTP to a win at the famous Watkins Glen circuit. It's powered by a specially prepared Super Duty four-cylinder that turns out 330hp.

#9: This GM Goodwrench Fiero GTU racked up four consecutive class wins in the '87 IMSA season, and isn't about to stop there.

#4: Doc Dixon uses a 330hp. Super Duty four-cylinder to take his Nationwise/Valvoline Fiero to major NHRA victories.

#12: This AT&T Collins & Aikman GTP won five of the first nine IMSA events in 1987.

#3: IMSA driver Bob Earl got down to business fast and won the Miami Grand Prix GTO class in this Dingman Brothers/Valvoline Fiero.

Cool. That car was at the 20th Aniversary. Along with the 1990 Prototype.

Do you see the name "Huffaker" on the gide of that GT?

Thats from Huffaker engineering, the people who made the IMSA Fiero frame.

They are also the one who moddified that same frame used in Dodges M4S project. (AKA: The Wraith)

I like the hood vents on the GTP. I wonder how hard it would be to do a decent modified replica of that on a GT hood? I'd probably skip the scoop at the window line it looks good on the GTP but might look funny on the GT. Oh well, I'd have to learn how to use fiberglass first and I guess that answers my own question.

I loving these hood vents too. GTP vents are really beautiful. I want it for my car.... Vents on silver-gray smooth GT and on J. Normanīs IMSA are very similar.

Yeah, I liked those hood vents on the GTP as well. However I dont think the lines would flow right on a normal fiero.
