He said he had an online name so I think that's how it got messed up. It is Soligny or something I guess. So yeah I screwed up in both respects, but I mean from the response I have gotten it looks like I was almost better having these mistakes. I have never messed up with all this before but man I got jumped on by him. Once again I told him I would get him a money order if he indeed wanted one but he said he was finished helping me, then changed his mind and said I will help you then bashed me for messing up and called me an idiot and told me to make my own parts and learn or something and how I had no business being in college. Basically what it boils down to is someone with out any consideration of something that happened by accident and just assumed I was out to screw him over with a faulty check with the wrong last name. I mean I only sent him all my parts to make the bracket so I dont see why I would intentionally do something like this. I tried to be respectful with him but it turned out to I was just getting run all over by him, I had to let it go. I was starting to think I was the bad person here but I have stepped back and reviewed it all, and I just can't find justice in how I was treated by him.

Just to clarify. I helped Tony do both installs on his cars. He had the engine installed on his first car and I helped with the wiring and getting the thing running. The second car was swapping out a 3800 with an auto for a 3800s/c with a clutch. Tony did most of the work. I fabbed up some brackets and such also helped with the wiring. I made a few mistakes in the wiring but did not have time to trouble shoot as Tony was moving and I ran out of time. He found my mistakes and corrected them. Tony is very capable, he just needed some experience and some pointers.

Good point Tim......................although what I gather from all this is that it's about attitude and how the situation ( & people ) were handled, rather than "capabilities"

Agreed. I had a girlfriend a few years ago that had a lot of the enamel eaten away from drinking a lot of coke as she grew up. Drink Pepsi. It tastes better and won't hurt your teeth nearly as bad.

Looks like your rating is going down. I guess thats what happens when you post something like this on a public forum. For my Rating I don't care anymore. I don't care about this forum. Seems it is going down hill. And your one of the reasons. You can't take care of your own business deals, because your a cry baby. Tell someone who cares.

I met Amir and Ryan at Osage Beach about 2 years or so ago. Both were very polite and informative. Heck, Amir wrote down the address for the forum so that I could be involved and learn more(boy have I) about this great car. I have been collecting info on my 3800SC Series I swap for atleast that long and both have been some help answering my questions. (+ for both of you if I already havent). Just my $.02 worth. Take it or leave it. And just to add, Amir's mother was there and she was about the nicest person there, I cant beleive that she doesnt own a Fiero as much as she seemed to be involved.

I was going to leave this whole thing alone... but it's really just too out of hand

Tony - although it seems like a long time ago now, you used to actually be a friendly person. But somehow over the past couple of years you've become selfish and blatantly rude. WTF? It's not like people haven't helped you when you needed things (like the exhaust system on your GT? Or the red fastback decklid after your engine fire? or making payments on cars you've purchased without full payment up front? or even finding kind people like FieroSTS to help you with your wiring?)

I don't really seem to recall you really helping anyone around here - at least not lately, unless it benefits you and/or your bank account.

Who said I had to be nice.

I think that statment very clearly sums up everything you currently believe in and your attitude towards everything.

Then why don't you leave? If you really didn't care - you'd have totally left this post alone a long time ago instead of coming here and slinging names and insults. The forum may be going downhill (I for one, don't believe that to be true), but it's not because of people like Amir...

Just in general, I have noticed... Whenever we "spot the not", the last line of defense is "Don't hate the player, hate the game" or "if I find no more value in this forum, I should preach to claim its insignificance before I go". Cliff cares why people leave the forum in attempts to improve it. It just sucks when people deliberately try to piss him off and provoke him into closing up shop. That's the only way they can get even with the "forum" that rated them off.

That has little/nothing to do with this situation (or the people in it), but just answering the question from other observations.

[ sarcasm] it has to be the forum's fault, it couldn't possibly be tony's and amir's...[ /sarcasm]

You know, a butterfly flaps his wings and blows some spores that cause the forrest to germinate that causes the blah blah blah...before you know you have a typhoon bearing down on Bangladesh!

If you hadn't created this Forum, non of this would ever have happened. Everybody would be happy, peace loving and content....and I have a bridge in New York to sell ya.

Pennocks is a reflection of the people that are here. To quote a once great singer (i know, don't even talk about now), if you want to make the forum a better place take a look at yourself and CHANGE!

Hey Ryan, don't you go dissing Amir's mom. I'll come down there and put a little respect back in ya'.

(Seriously, Amir's folks are some cool people and lots of fun. But I'm an old guy so I'm easily amused.)

Ya, Cliff shouldn't have to see this a few days after his "special day". If Tony can just give Amir his stuff back and have this thread die. If you're bashing PFF, then honestly why stay? No one is forcing you to.
