Chester and Elvira dropped by for a surprise visit the other day...

Chester with the rat...

Close up of the new cold air intake peeking out from behind the scoop

Ladies and gentlemen... words can not describe the impact of this vehicle upclose and in person. From the wicked stance, to the rumble of the exaust note as it pulls away, simply amazing.

Congrats to Chester on a fine piece of work.

Who tinted your windows??!!! Man I would take that back and have them redue it. And time for a brake upgrade.

Thats all I am going to say.

That's not window tint.

That's the plastic film cover of the lexan windows from the 3" chop that V8Archie did. He's kept the film on the windows while the work is still being done so as to not scratch the lexan.

Also, those are not stock breaks on that. Chester has put 12" brakes on. They just look smaller due to the 19" rims.

Odd.. I thought all of that was pretty obvious from a first glance.

Actually the nose is mounted on the car, Datacop just didn't get it in the picture.

Thanks for posting the pics!!

The brakes look dwarfed by the 19's. I have the 11.25" brakes. I told Elvira that I need the 13's now to make it look right.

I'll probably have to work on some 1" drop spindles for the front as well. If I try to crank the coil overs down any further, I loose all my suspension travel.

The paint won't happen till sometime this summer - I have a few more tricks up my sleeve before that takes place.

It was a rush finally driving the car out in town. I took it out before, but thru the back roads. That day I drove it right into town...the looks I got were priceless! Then we made a quick run on the highway... Damn - seems like she idles at 80!
What a blast!

For those that want to see the car up close and personal, it will be at the Daytona show next weekend. She's not done, but then are they ever?

Thanks for the kind words all!

That looks like very little tire over those rims, is that strictly show stuff or can wheels like that be used on a daily driver?

Chester, I have a set of HMS 1 inch drop spindles that I purchased for my 88 that I ended up not using. Want them? Never been driven on. Has the rear 88 wheel bearing conversion on them too... Stronger, more available rear bearings on the FRONT of the car!!! Imaging that

I paid over $600 for them... I'll let them go for $400. Interested?

Daily Driver tires spread out over a 8.5" rim........no problems unless Chester lets the air pressure go below 40 PSI.

Man! I love that car!

I would concur with Madcurl that it shouldn't been much of a problem as long as you keep an eye on tire pressures. The again, I wouldn't run tires so low, lets say in New York city. Would depend on the road conditions around your area as well.. I've never run tires this low so we shall see..

I was just about to say I like the wing. I know a lot of people don't like that style, but I, for one, tend to like that more "more for go than for show" look when it comes to wings. Looks great on the car, man. Keep up the good work... err... continue with the good work!!
