I could have come to Daytona but I would have been Fiero-less...My GT will not leave the garage until the Firebird Interior is 100% complete. I am planning Wheatstock for the national debut.
And I did my best imitation of you and drove my daily driver under a truck. Luckily no one was hurt, the car did not suffer a fatal wound and is being rebuilt. Drive careful to and from Florida and watch out for those semi's

Damn - no need to imitate that stunt! Glad to hear that everyone made it out ok and that the car is rebuildable. I miss my T-top! Hopefully I'll see you in Topeka!

Is the Rat endowed with that bright, shiny Kevlar Liner yet? Still looking for pics on that one...
DKOV -
Um, no and I don't know if it will ever sport it or not...it might have to find a new car to go into My plans have changed a little and I don't want to ruin it...

Is the real reason you went with a chop top is that when you ever decide to do that crazy stunt with the semi again you'll clear it?
Funny that you say that, we took the car for a spin today and passed a couple of rigs on 64...It would clear now with no probs...Don't think I want to try it again any time soon though!

Chester, by chance, are you thinking about putting a targa into the rat? you would be making my dreams of a chopped targa SBC Fiero come true....
Only time will tell...

Another check in the "Fantasy car" checklist. According to mine, all that needs to be completed post- targa is a Firebird Dash and sound system.... any plans for either?

Hey Chester, Long time no talk. The Rat is looking SWEEEEEEEET. I will have to make a treck out that way sometime and see it.
How is Elvira's car going?
Wow!! There you is... where you been hiding? Thanks for the compliment. I might get done with it someday. Elivras car is getting fixed after Daytona...treck out this way anytime!

Exactly how high is the roof from the ground? Can you literally drive under a semi, Fast and Furious style? Can a six foot or taller person fit in The Rat (headroom)? I'm sure you've answered these Q's before but...
