May 8th sounds perfect. This would be the first even of the year. Maybe we should consider a once a month meet in different parts of the province. May 8th - Square one - GTA West end Early June - London Cruise Early July - Yorkdale -GTA East end Early August - Woodbridge - GTA North Early September - Pickering/Ajax/Whitby area Early October - End of year London Cruise
What does everyone think?
Vince, the only thing I don't like about this schedule is that I leave for school at the end of august so having a meet out here then wouldn't be so great for me. But I like the idea. Maybe we can shuffle it up a bit. We'll talk about it at the square one meet which I will be attending FOR SURE

I'm new to the Fiero game buying my first one last year. It's an 84 that needed al lot of work and I should have it on the road this summer. It would be great to join in on these events. Please PM me with your schedule. LOL

Alex, that is only a rough outline. Like you said we can discuss at Square one and start to iron out the details here on PFF so everyone is in the loop. See you all May 8th. It's a nice sunny day here so I am going to have to go out for a cruise. Vince

You realize that Burlington has North America's largest weekly outdoor carshow don't you? It is held behind the Mapleview mall (west side - backs up to the QEW Niagara) and starts at 4:30 every wednesday after May 24. There is usually a dozen or so Fieros. A lot of the previous posts in this thread attend Mapleview. There are 5 other PFF members that live in Burlington. I did up until 2 years ago.
Something to look forward too...

Yeah, what he said. Mapleview every Wednesday is a must. Like George said we usually get about 10 to 12 cars every week. We have a great time and then all go out for drinks and snacks afterward and talk Fieros. Hope to see you there.

May 8th, starting at 1:00pm. I thought that it was decided a few posts ago, but this is a confirmation of the date and time. Just come down Burnhamthorpe and we'll be parking in the parking lot at the Tim Horton's just off city center drive in front of the mall. I'll post pics and directions after this weekend as I want to see the amount of parking that will be available in that spot.

Well my Fiero insurance might be stopping as of May 11th. Because of the 10% decrease, they decided to screw people that have a couple minor infractions. They had a policy of 4 tickets and a 10% surcharge would be added. I only had 3, life was good. Now as of the last couple weeks they dropped that to 2 and now instead of paying 150 a month, I'm going to be paying 339 a month. If I can't find anything to do with my car by May 11th, the insurance will be pulled. So May 8th could be my last Fiero cruise for a while.
They are also screwing me by saying that it's 3 years until my tickets are removed from my record. I asked the ministry and they said direct to my face that it was 2 years. The insurance company back peddled and said the points would be removed after 2 years and the tickets would be removed after 3. It's the same crap they pull on accidents saying it's 7 years until an accident is cleared, even though the ministry says it's 5.

Man that sucks, I know how much of a hassle insurance can be here in Ontario. Its BS as I'm concerned. The government should really regulate insurance more. I know a lot of people are against government getting involved in private business but when they make it mandatory to have insurance, they shouldn't let people get this screwed over about insurance. I hope you can figure something out by then man.
Okay guys/gals, I'm horrible and giving directions, but here goes.
If you are coming from London, come straight down the 401 and turn off onto Mavis, go south until Burnhamthorpe and take a left. You'll see Square One, take a left onto Kariya and then the next left, take the first left and then right and head into the parking lot to the far right side. Depending on if anyone is parked there, we might go into the parking lot on the other side of it.
If you are coming from the east end, take the 401 to the 403 and then get off at the Hurontario exit and take it south. Turn right onto Burnhamthorpe and then right onto Kariya. Follow the rest of the directions above.
Here's some pics of the parking lot:
And here's a pic of the turn off Burnhamthorpe towards the mall:
If anyone needs to get a hold of me on the way here I can PM or email you my cell number. I'm hoping the weather turns nice and we don't get the rain they are calling for.

We can't make it on account Becky and I work every saturday. Sunday is always a better day for us.
Hope to see everyone at Mapleview May 19th

So, who all is coming? Just looking to get a quick count.
Also change of plans for parking lots. Instead of the one circled, go to the one across the street closer to Square One. I looked at the other parking lot and it looks like they are really adamant about people not parking there unless they go into their building.
im comming ill i need a few parts too if anyone has anything i need a radio surround the brushed aluminum looking one would like a 5spd shifter factory sub box would be nice
I'll be there, and so will my fiero if everything is on schedule I get'er back tomorrow.. errrr today... its 4:42 am haha
As for parts, I need a blower fan... not the rad fan, the one for heating/air conditioning... and if anybody has a spare stock sub box I'd take that too, but I wont get my hopes up lol....
Also, if somebody wants to help me install new sail panels I'd appreciate it... its probably a pain in the a$$ though.
Want to be there real bad but, the wife scheduled a Garage sale for Saturday. Not her fault it's one of those community sales. Now, I don't want to be a gloom and doomer but, the weather office is calling for a 60% chance of rain. Is there a rain date for this or does it go rain or shine? If we get at least a weeks postponement I can get my GT running a little better too. I think I need a new O2 or MAP sensor. Got a hunting idle and it stumbles occaisionally when I try to maintain a constant speed. Anyway, hope to make it there somehow.

For me it's rain or shine, because I won't be able to go to another one for the rest of the year with my Fiero as the road coverage gets pulled May 11th. I'm hoping the rain holds off, but if it doesn't, we'll go into Moxy's for lunch if people want to.

I'll be there rain or shine. I hope that it stays nice. I want to meet a few of the folks that are planning on going. My car has been being a real pain as of late, for instance, today it decides that it doesn't want to start. I really need to rewire a few wires, they clearly aren't connected properly.
I'll be there saturday though. See ya folks there
