Think a few people around here knew that I was looking for some new wheels, not wanting to compromise for a long time it took me quite a while to make up my mind. Not only did I want bigger wheels, Chrome ones, 5 spokes, and a lot wider tire. But I also didn't want to spend an arm and a leg.
Well I finally did manage to make up my mind, and now they are on ... May I present the new and improved "Curse"
and a close up of the wheel itself.
Tina BTW Kev... when you asked on saturday what I was doing after hearing the air tool humming. That was it

Are you a pilot? The plane I mean... We already know your fiero flies
Nahh, that big white thing is my Fieros roommate. Usually I get to park underneath it, not the best spot, but you can't knock free heated indoor storage.

Ouch, your blinding my eyes, hehehehe. Nice choice and very aggressive looking. Looks like the rears are 27.0 in diameter? 255/40/19's in the back and 235/40/19 front?
Ahhh....spec's and a rear view pic please. Hey, I'm bored. hehehe

Close 225/45/17 in the front. Seemed a wise choice, considering the rubbing on the fender well I found from the the old tires. Plus, we saved a few pounds on the wheels. Never a bad thing.
On the rear we got 265/40/18's. The tires were a bit more than I budgeted for though, but it seems in that particular size ... I had the choice of 2, period.

$278 for just one or the rear ones. Ouch.
Tina BTW The blue hood if of some 70something Corvette, in for some restoration.

Very sweet there, Tina. Very nice wheels and an agressive stance to boot. I love the staggered sizes, did the same with my 87, yours look fabulous. Is that an F4B Wildcat that you get to park under and do take each other for rides? jet
EDIT,,,,,,,,is that a maroon Fiero that I see in the background?

Not too often. We both preferene the driver seat. That's probably why I do turn down most rides in the plane. (T-28-C btw) Besides, then he just tries to get some payback by trying to get me sick with all the upside down, twirlies and such.
Nah I prefer cars, much safer. At least this way if I run out of gas, or some other not very big in and around a car problem, like a electrial one, doesn't have me crashing back down to earth. I rather just roll to a stop.
Tina BTW Driving lights from Autozone I belief. Universal app. Should'd be too hard to find.

VERY nice, Tina....they change the whole "attitude" of the car. Before, to me, it looked like a "can you guess what's under the hood" type of car. Now, it looks more like a "feeling lucky, punk?" automobile...
Now, you just have to do something about that white lettering on the tread...

Yeah, that ... and ... your wallet. 1300 or 1400 HP (can't remember the exact number) Goes through a gallon a minute on 100 Lo lead, two on take off.
I'd probably average about 1 3/4 gpm (hehehehe), I fly very similar radial fighter planes in Flight Simulator 2004 just for kicks, I don't get up the real stuff very much any more.
