Have you guys checked out the preview yet? It is pretty awesome. That must have taken quite a bit of work to piece togeather. It looks like it was worth the wait so far.
Well, June 1st is here and guess what? NO DVD. So we are now five months behind the orginal promised ship date. I know that if I had to wait 5 months for a fiero part, I would be upset. Plus there would be many more threads and many more people on here flaming the poor business practices.

wow, just bumped this in order to announce something in the coming days and didnt want to loose it. there are threads you may have missed but rather that point you to them ill just give you the short version. the DVD is Done and had some bumps in duplication. New media had to be ordered because we had a spinle of 50 bad burns. as soon as these come back (and are quality tested) they will be sent out the same day. My personal apologies to any who are fed up. I understand. this was a huge undertaking, and i hope the end product makes up for it all.

So you all know that he's not pulling your leg, 100 DVDs were burned yesterday. Of those, there were 5 that failed, so 95 burned DVDs left for Sastian FedEx Priority Overnight Delivery yesterday. They will arrive to him today.

And i have the printing all lined up for today.. so today should be very busy ( in spite of my head cold ) waiting for my doorbell to ring. will be like a starting gun.
ok initial testing proved that about 8 out of 20 worked in my PS2 (which could be old and crotchety) but all of them worked in my mintek dvd (which is an early bottom wrung dvd player) So im gonna call these good... but will seperate out the PS2 playable ones after printing.....
Basically. if the only DVD player you have is a PS2 and you have ordered one, list your name here.
I'm off to the printer.

update: at the printer we discovered that the DVD's wouldn't take ink. basically it just beads and doesn't dry. like its on wax paper. well since it was advertised as printable media i was a little pissed! after some time on the phone and sending images via email of the results i get this reply.

Dear Sir,
Sorry about the problem you're having but the media you've purchased is not ink jet printable. You need to use a laser printer for those media (or even dot-matrix). If the media is ink jet printable, we will list it on the website.
Sorry that I cannot issue the exchange for the item, but please make sure you don't use ink jet printer for those media.
Thank you,
RMA Department
grrrrr.
so i figure ill prepare all I can... I've printed and assembled all cases and have photo-matte labels printed. Now I'm hesitant to use the paper labels for fear of balancing issues so I'm going to search like a madman for someone with a Thermal Disc Printer. (as it RMA tech errantly suggested "laser" printing) I'm not sure I've ever heard of a Laser Disk Printer. But if any of you truly insist i ship tomorrow ill stamp the paper labels on them and get them in the mail. But as you may understand, I've come this far not cutting corners, it wouldn't make much sense to start now. But thats where I am.
Although seeing all of this come together is pretty awesome... i"ll try and get some images up of all the finished boxes.
Now off to find a Thermal Disk Printer (at least we have a "plan B")

well like i said before ive come to great of a distance to cut any corners the far in the game. after this last burn. we've reordered new media from a different vendor.
best of all this is graded higher and is silver inkjet printable which means they'll look stellar in the end.
Heres some images of where I am....

Well, all I have is an XBOX for a DVD player, so I guess that makes me the defacto XBOX quality tester.
