I got my DVD yesterday and watched it last night, the day 1 racing at Waterford was not so good, the idea filming inside the car going round the track was good, but it lacked excitment perhaps a better soundtrack would have helped ie. more engine noise, squealing tires etc. Although he was an extremly smooth fast driver, he was perhaps to good for that segment. I did like the review of all the concept Fiero's, and actually seeing them drive around under their on power, also the speaches from the 2 GM guys was real entertaining as I did not stay for this part of the show. But for me the best part was at the Milan drag circuit where you showed me reving the engine of my car 'fullav8', but overall I think you did a great job, it captured the spirit of the event perfectly.

I just shipped 32 copies of the DVD to Wheatstock for those of you interested in purchasing there. Eric Schneck will be handling sales there so look him up at the front desk.

Hi Sastian, I just received my DVD today (Tuesday June 29th). Watched it all the way through as soon as I got home. Saw my car, ( parked beside Skitime's ). A job well done. I do some video editing myself, and I realize how long it takes to chop up the video and assemble it.... and get the sound track sync. correct. I'm sure you had a ton of video to sort through, to get just the right bits to put in. It takes alot of time at the computer. Thank you, and to your crew of helpers, for the great souvenir of the 20th.

Oh crap...I forgot to ask about the DVD while I was there! I'll just have to order one from the website I guess.
Will the DVD be available at the Auburn show this weekend? I know it's ot a CfogI sponsered event, but just curious. If not I'll be ordering on the website soon.
I try to get them to the events if i can. Ill check with Eric about who's going to be at Auburn.
I can help you out by saying that I have no idea who's going to Auburn, and in less than an hour I'm on the road to Georgia so there'll be no shipping from me until I get back.

Got mine and finally got time to watch it. Overall it is very good. I'm sure the sound tracks used had a lot to do with copyrights. I agree in that I would like to see on footage of the Saturday Show.
So when can we order volume II that contains more footage from the show? I think that if you had some footage of Huki and Parki signing various parts during the dinner, it would be good to see as well.
A + from me to you.

just have to chuckle at this comment. it seems you think the shots were planned and/or scripted. like we needed to rewrite it. heck, we did the best with what we got given to us...
but thanks for the comment. just thought id share why it made me smile.
(watch out when we actually man the cameras... coming later this year!!!)

Received the DVD the other day and had a chance to view it. Overall, an excellent complilation! About as professional looking as possible considering what Sastian had to work with. Hmmm... I didn't see the "tatooed girl" groovin' to the music though LOL
I ordered mine on the site, got a email saying it was shipped,, its been 10 days I would like an update as to where it is....The check cleared the bank

Sastian, You say it shipped for those of us who ordered off the CFOG website, have I got that right? Or are you waiting for something? I'm not sure I understood your post where you say "waiting on a transaction". Cause I paid last month.

Yes. I placed my order on June 1st.

I still haven't received mine, or any indication that it has shipped, or any information about when it is going to ship.
Any updates?

I've got Inventory here. Will you be forwarding orders from georgia? When do you get back?
I only brought my personal copy with me to Georgia, just in case I ran into any Fiero nuts down there (did not ). As for getting back, I'm literally on the road right now (Internet from the car ROCKS!!) but will be home in a few hours. I may call you in the next few days, once I wake up. With Wheatstock last weekend, and a road trip to Georgia (1200 miles each way) I'm pretty beat.
I beleive it is time to get trackign numbers to those of us that ordered off the website over a month ago.. I have 2 emails sayign that it shipped, but that was 2 weeks ago..
At this rate we will recieve them after the 1st anniversary of the 20th show.. I believe these DVDs were suppose to ship in Nov or Dec.. 2003.. This does not make things look good for cfog as they are lookign for more support an members in the future.

We can discuss this in a PM or email if you'd like where I will be more than happy to explain all the details. We already have an open email line of communication - let's use it. I agree that you (and everyone else) deserve tracking numbers, answers, etc. - whatever you'd like to have, but would prefer to have you contact me or Christian directly instead of throwing us to the wolves immediately.

actually its a little more messed up than that. the PO left Eric a "note" in MA and he couldn't pick them up before catching his plane to Kansas. so I request that the box in MA i sent to him get sent back to me in IL and i sent the other batch to Kansas. Once the ones got sent back back to Elgin I had to take them with me on the road and shipping them form Quincy. you know juggling. all while the next hundred are getting made.

Ok I really wanted to get one of these DVD's at Wheatstock but know one had them out or a sign that said they were available. I had even left a msg earlier stating I wanted to pick one up there. Anyway it didn't happen so now I am suck ordering one from you direct. How do I make it happen.
got it!!!!!! Thank you brother for all the hard work you've put into this. I will watch it later and test it in all my dvd players and report back! I've already seen clips from playing a bit of it at wheatstock till my dvd driver took a crap. And I'm pumped! Can't wait to relive last year. L8

There was a table set up at the awards ceremony, as well as a large neon-colored sign near the table. (During the show we didn't have a place to staff someone full time - sorry!) If you got to the ceremony late, you might not have seen it due to the large amount of people there.

The CFOGi Store
I generate those emails from the CFOGi store software. I have previously asked Christian if he is shipping these or if he wants me to. I have not heard back from him.
