Very nice alternative to the stock sun roof. I seen it on a Fiero in OK. Although the guy in OK had a diiferent size and was electric. Sppdy said his was free, so you can't pass-up a freebie like that.
Info: fully electric w/sunscreen, and a bit larger than stock sun-roof. Sppdy's was manual w/driver & passanger side sun screen....very nice comparred w/the larger one. The larger one has (1) sun-screen v. (2).

Kitkar and I got back last night around 11pm. What an awesome trip! Its nice to be able to put faces to the PFF tags now. The yellow beast ran flawlessly for 1500 miles. I'll be back next year AND I'll be up there for the coast run in November. Hey FieroBear. No pics of mine posted? I'm bummed!
Here's some pics from our Sunday morning run up the coast. We had 7 cars. Rie's 87 GT, Chris West's 86 SE, Silvermist's 85 SE , tednelson's 87 GT, rgeeinc's Corson Ferrari 512, Pat's 88 GT (not sure if he is on the forum), and Larry Hughes 85 SE (not sure if he is on the forum either).
We had a nice little drive and the fog started lifting as we headed up the coast. As always, stopping to see the elephant seals was a big hit. Larry turned back at the lighthouse to go help Jan get checked out. Rie, Chris, and Kevin (tednelson) turned back at Gordo to go to Cambria for lunch... The rest went on to Monterey for lunch and then on home...
Someone ask tednelson about trying to keep up with Chris West on curvy Pacific Coast roads! haha... Rie and I had a front row seat for that show!

Here's the ones I took, Robert... Very nice car! One of yours and Rick's together too...

Can't remember who the guy on the left is. To the right of him is RBeaubien, then me and Vic, the owner of that car.
I'll have my pics posted later. We had a blast, Jessica did too. She actually started to get enthused about working on the car after seeing some of the other cars there. The yellow beast made the trip no problem but I wasn't so lucky. My car ran hot the whole trip and we had to do some custom coolant hose mods in a parking lot somewhere.
PokeyFiero (Andrew), Mrs. Spddy, WkdFiero (Anthony) and Fastback86 (Scott) Someone told Andrew that there was a loud shirt competition! And he believed it! haha
Malakyt (Daniel), atleastitruns (Janell), and Skank (Sorry, didn't get a name.)
tednelson (Kevin) finding his winning ticket for a T-shirt.
Larry Haverman picking up his trophy.
Part of a trailer for a new Dumb and Dumber movie? haha...

I don't know if I want to give you the full size one or not! You notice that you are all standing around looking pretty while I am down on my knees in the background cleaning that car! haha
Westfest was awesome! A HUUUGE thanks to everyone that put it on, helped, and was there. Sure, the cars are great... but they'd be nothing without their owner's dedication/obsession.
stimpy! too bad you got there saturday, you missed a buncha fun.
scott, thanks for agreein' to take me for a ride next time. :P whee! 3.4! can't wait! btw, I'm still jealous. *shakes head* I love the steering wheel, you did a great job on it. and I'm sure your baby has a huge ego after that detail and everyone lookin at it.
dan! love the car... and thanx for the tail lights. I'll be fixin' them up... might even put a little twist on 'em. hangin' with you an karl was great. can't wait for the Coast Run! oh, and I hope you got home okay...
karrrrrrl! you are too cool. Onyx had better get herself together before the next meet... I don't know if she'd be happy to miss out on another gathering.
songman, thanks a bunch for the bra... I'm gunna wash the car, the bra, and see how it looks. lol.. thanks again! Rie, you are so great. love ya!
Bear! it was too cool seeing ya again! thanks bunches for taking pictures, and then taking the time to upload them onto pennocks for anyone.
pokey, muchisimas gracias for tellin' me about the little run saturday. it sucks monkeynuts about your poor 2 day old engine, but hey, it was fun while it lasted, rite?
spddy, John, LOVED THE CAR! it was... just woah! I couldn't keep away! haha. hope to see the little one at the next fiero meet! and tell Mrs. Spddy hi for me!

You think THAT was priceless, you didn't see the pix that Rie has on her camera of me after my 15th marg, and 7th MGD did you!? Now THAT was a priceless pic!
Hey Dale... Congrats on you and the wifey (your wifey, not the "wifey"), but I must say... Keep her away from french mexican maids with asian accents.. What happens in San Simeon, stays in San Sieon - or at least that's what the threat from the women was! <As I leave everyone guessing> ha ha
You think that outfit was good, wait until November... Already have it planned! for THAT one, someone BETTER have pix!

We're starting a permanent Westfest website called "fierowestfest.org". Naturally, we will put all the next show info up, but I'd also like to do an archive of pictures from past shows.
What I want to know is if Malakyt and Skank actually made it back to Arizona. Anyone know? Did they have to rob any liquor stores? What happened?
same question...? anyone? they haven't called me asking for a money order yet... but still... hmm, hopefully they're sleeping, and haven't made it onto the forum yet. I know Dan's internet is out... but Karl should have posted by now... and neither of them have logged onto AIM as of yet.

Cut and Paste from another thread, cause I want to thank everyone again, especially Chris West! I'm still thinking about driving that car. Must...have....turbo....
I'd like to take this opportunity to thank a few people:
Pokeyfiero for cruising down with me and not getting either of us killed. The drives there and back were fun, I'm glad we didn't go alone.
fierobear that was an awesome event. I'm going to go crazy trying to budget Fiero mods AND Fiero shows now!
rgeeinc thanks for the ride! Glad we finally got to do it. That V8 is awesome, but I want another ride when you finally get that computer in and tuned!
Spddy thanks for being so cool and putting up with me! I tried not to bug you, but I had lots of questions! That car is simply incredible, and I'm driving to San Ramon the minute its running right.
Chris West thank you again for letting me take your car for a drive! That was absolutely incredible. I can say without hesitation that that is THE FASTEST I have ever accelerated. And I was being super careful cause I can't afford to fix it. Imagine if I could have totally gone nuts with it...
Malakyt and Skank, you two screwballs are awesome. That was a lot of fun, and you should have told me the first night you didnt have a room, mine was right there with only me in it. Hope you guys got back to AZ ok and I can't wait to see that decklid we designed. See you at the Coast Run, right?
Goober....I don't know what to say. You are hilarious. I guess I'll say thank you for keeping your shorts on for most of the weekend.
Curly the car is awesome, nuff said. Can't wait to see the redux.
Marcus, Steven, Janell, all the Mrs (Goober, Bear, Spddy, etc) and everyone else, that was an awesome weekend. I can't think of any better way to have spent it. I can't believe I have to wait a year till the next one. Least we got some other get togethers and the Coast Run to tide me over. Its gonna be rough though.
3rd Place Custom GT and a set of WCF aluminum door sills and a whole lot of pictures, stories, and great memories. I made off like a bandit this weekend!

Like I said in a previous post... Just wait until November (Coast Run)... We'll be back in the same hotel, same setup, the whole nine yards... My outfit will be a bit more "ethnic"... Since everyone seems to think that I was a Mexican / French / Asian wait(ress)er, then I will definately give people more ethnitisity to the... To put it simple, if you don't go for the show because you can't afford the hotel or whatever, or if you just wanna come up for the day, I really suggest you come by for the day, wait until the evening when the awards are being given out, and enjoy the entertainment!
Plus, who knows... With me, I could be a goober at anytime, and do it during the tech session next time! Nah, I don't want to get in everyones way <grin>...
Thanx for everyone who got a kick out of the little entertainment part... I honestly didn't know how that would turn out, and since Morehead and I were still outside, and we looked in the window, and it seemed a bit "meeting-ish" in there, we figured you all could use a bit of laughter to go along with it... I'm glad we didn't offend anyone, and (I think) our idea was executed well enough that we even kept it clean (if you want to call it that) for the kids' sake!
Thank you also, to the families young daughter that picked one of the raffles! At least It wasn't my fault who won, won!
Tinay: Who was the woman hanging around with your woman during the entertainment? The woman that kept loosing her marg cup, and then found them again! It's not my fault she was wasted from the 1st round to the 4th...
The only problem I had with the whole deal was the hotel staff kept telling all their friends that we were having a big massive alcohol party, which first of all, don't know where in the world that came from, and on Saturday nite, around 2:30ish AM, Sideris said the hotel staff had a car filled with their friends, they stopped and asked Sideris & Morehead if there were anymore margs or beer... Other than that, I think the hotel accomidations were great!

So true. There were some amazing cars at the West Fest and it seems people are constantly unveiling new and interesting mods, in addition to the usual tons of chrome and big wheels. I don't think any of my cars presently or under construction and compete with these! But I'm going to keep building them anyway. Thanks for all the pics! My fingers are tired from all the "Right click- save as"

Next year, we will have to charge for the Margarita Machine. It got REALLY expensive for us this time. We're thinking maybe $1/cup, maybe $2. Still dirt cheap.

Lets take a poll... How many people out here would be interested in paying $5.00 for the marg machine, and as long as you kept your cup, you got refills for the nite...

I don't suppose Andrew noticed his coil lead wire is broken while doing his duct taping.
Oh yeah, it was arcing like nuts. That fix lasted a whole 5 miles I think. After that, it spun 2 more rod bearings. Andrew was sick of it by the time we limped to Paso, so it got left there and I brought him to the Bears in Salinas. Funny thing is, it wasn't knocking any worse by the time we got to Paso than it was when we left.
On another note, my car is now ok. It was behaving odd; it was running nice and cool, but as soon as I stopped moving or started moving slow it would almost over heat (hover right under the red line) fan on or not. Somehow I managed to totally blow it last time I changed the coolant or something, cause it was like 30% air and froth. Some water fixed that up good, but now its something to look into, cause I know it wasn't leaking it. Also, the Service Engine Soon light fixed itself. Came on as we were cruising up the freeway but nothing was wrong so we ignored it. After I dropped off Pokey, I started the car again and the idiot light was gone and hasn't come back. I'm guessing it was the EGR solenoid cause we got it soaking wet while we were refilling and burping the coolant. At any rate, its all good now.

How did I miss out on the bonfire and WCF-Nazi pic? I belong in both of those!
Those were taken Saturday night sometime after midnight. Funniest thing is, the real, true WCF-Nazi present is hiding in that picture cause he doesn't want to be identifed.

I feel for him. I have been fortunate enough to have few roadside mishaps that I couldn't fix myself. Looks like ENGINE SWAP TIME!

Tonight, pokey took his Suburban, borrowed Tinay's trailer, and headed down to Paso to pic up the car. Wish him luck.
well actually it got worse.I fixed the brakes on the suburban but had to bleed them alone cause jason never showed up.Then i went a few miles and the vac pod started leaking so i said no way am i driveng 450 miles in the dark pulling a trailer with iffy brakes so i went and got my rv out of mothballs.Got to Tinays house and the wiring was totally different so i was ready to quit cause i already had kept john tinay up late and didnt want him to stay up any longer on my account while i re wired the lights.John said to use his truck cause he knew i was worried about my car.I thought some one would steal my rims and tires. So i went in his truck and trailer and got there at 3:33 and made it home at 7:30 this morning an hour and a half late for work. When i got here nobody did anything they were supposed to do. I gave them easy to follow instructions over the phone and they still screwed it up.So now i'm fixing everything.Four guys at an hour and a half is 6 hours of wasted time.I'm pissed!!!!! But my car is complete and i did fine in the dark and Mucho thanks to John Tinay. If anything else goes wrong i'm just going to fire everybody and go to bed.It has been 27 hours since i had 2 1/2 hours sleep so i might be a little grouchy today.
