The problem is that it takes a lot more than just a T1 line to run a server. You can do a basic setup but personally I don't want to open my computer up to that much internet traffic. The company I use has plans starting at $3.75 a month, depending on what you want. They were running a deal for $150 for LIFE!!! I switched all of my accounts over to that. The bad news is that they only offered 50 accounts for that price. I think they are filled up but if you are interested let me know and I will check.

Andrew, let me know if you are interested in a site. I can get you set up with Jason on hosting and if you need someone to design and maintain it for you, I can handle that... I don't think I have your phone number so PM it to me and I'll give you a call. If you have my number already, feel free to call me.

We're heading out of town in a couple of hours and will be gone till next Thursday. I'll have my cell phone with me if you need to call.

Oh I totally understand! The way our old plan worked, was basically we had numerous IP addresses that I had our ISP point their DNS server to my webserver, and that's how it works... The only problem is, when their backbone goes down, so does my server... That's the reason last week or so, people were having a hell of a time getting to the form, because their backbone died AGAIN! That is when I just said screw it, and went from there... Plus, like I said.. I get the T-1 at wholesale through work, and I had the computer already setup and being the server for the online store, the fieros west website, 2 or 3 different forums are setup on there, and the whole nine yards... Now instead of a few IP's, I have a block of 25, so that works out, too!

--- Goobz!

<thinking aloud>.. Boy, I gotta stop drinking... Fiero for sale, hmm. weekend driver, right price, hmmm.. --- **** ! open another beer!

I'll be going on the Coast Run this year. WestFest was awesome and I want to see more of the ocean. :-)

Ha.. Well, then I would be making appointments already for the therapist to see you after the run!

And for those of you wondering, it will be PG-13 -- well, barely!

We haven't set a number of available rooms yet. Manish and I have talked about it and we are starting at 20 rooms and if it looks like we will need more then we will add... Lots of people said they were coming but it is a little too early to say. I already have my reservations! My same ole room at the top - 241!

We'll be starting a convoy from Bakersfield at some time on Friday. Last year some of the L.A. guys came over the Grapevine and met up with us here. We met the next group which came from the Hanford/Fresno area over at Cholame by the James Dean Memorial. Then we met up with the Bay Area guys in Paso Robles for the last leg into San Simeon. A lot of the L.A. guys also did that for WestFest last month, although we had to miss it because of being late getting parts for Rie's car...

If anyone is interested in that we can start planning. We'll probably be ready to leave Bakersfield around 3:30-4:00 after Marie gets out of school.. unless I can convince her to take the day off and leave earlier.

Man I am dieing to pick up my car, why would someone not pick it up?
I will get my car back on or before next Monday. Jen and I went to the body shop and gave them till then to finnish the car. We will be there with a tow truck and a cop car if we need to go that far. I realy dont want to get screwed anymore on this one so to make sure I am in the right and I get my car and money back I had to give them a "reasonable" amount of time to get the job done.
By the way they have had the car for going on three months, that should be enough time to paint a car?

You've been much more patient that I would have been, Rick... Remember, I went to the upholsterer guys house at midnight the night before WestFest and took my unfinished panels away from him that he had been holding for 6 weeks! Good luck. I hope they finish the car for you and it looks great! Your patience deserves at least that.

This car that is getting picked up is a giveaway too! It is complete running 86SE chassis with a good V6 in it. The guy wrote me an e-mail last night that said he had hired a tow truck to come yesterday. When I e-mailed him wondering what was going on he called the guy. The guy told him that he had planned to be at my house at 2AM to pick up the car and deliver it in Ventura at 5AM!!! haha.. We both said we would not be up at those hours so he is supposed to come Monday now.
