I'm probably going to meet you guys like I did last year: at lunch Saturday. Montery/Carmel is only 45 minutes south of me, so I'll just meet you all wherever we decide to eat and cruise back down with you and stay over Saturday night.

Hey everyone... I know a lot of people check their Email more than they come onto Pennock's...

For those of you that are seriously interested in coming to the event, goto the registration page and fill it out, and make sure you check the updates box!

There is a mailing list that has been put together, that the organizers (ie: Songman) can use to email everyone that is interested in coming to the event. There are 3 people already on the list, and to me, since I don't check Pennock's but maybe once a week now, I can miss a whole bunch of things...

Songman: I will PM you later today on how to email messages to the mailing list!

That'll work.. Plus. I'll have my Coast Run site up soon with all the details. It is the same site that has all the pictures and stuff from last year but it will have the new info one it, including vendors who are donating items for the raffle...

This is an open call for anyone who would like to donate something for a little free advertising... Contact me in whatever way works best for you.

hmm, it looks like I won't be able to make it this year. I have other obligations that, sadly, come first. Oh well, I'll see what I can do... but I doubt I can go.

No.. It's up and functional... It's http://fieroswest.westcoastfiero.com/registration/registration.php It worked for me earlier today, and again now!

I will be out of town for the weekend to Seattle, and will be back on Monday! So people, please keep pre-reging, and when I get back on Monday, or while I am on the road, if I get a chance on the freeway with the laptop and cell phone, I will update the list, and keep updated on emails!

I go to the tire place next to Kragen, at Mission and Jackson. Their prices seem to be pretty good, and they have the brands I like. I've been using Yokohama Avid H4s on my GT. We beat the crap out of them at the track at Wheatstock, and they performed well. The GT is set up for nice, smooth driving on trips, but it did nicely at the track as well.

Check with Stimpy. His dad has a tire shop. It is probably a bit of a drive for you but you might save some money.. Besides, his dad kicked in some prizes for WestFest so we need to return the favor and use his business if we can.

Stimpy's dad's shop, a Big O, is in Modesto. Sorry to say, but I doubt it would save much money to drive there.

How do you know? I'll tell you what, phone calls are cheap. 209-552-0220. Give him a call (name is Bill) and tell him that Jeffery told you to call. Tell him what you want, and he can tell you what he can do for you. One thing for sure, he makes his guys treat the cars right. He sells almost all brands.

i will give him a call. i need two back tires and i cant afford to keep replacing them at 150.00 each.
Maybe he can give me a break.I got to do it before the coast run.
getting ready to put in a 3.4 also.I'm hoping it will get me there and back.

goals on 87 before coast run..new motor, new tires in back, new speakers.
If i'm lucky i'll get down to Songmans and pick up my rear bumper cover and have john tinay squirt it.
Have not found a decent front facia so it might just have to keep the crack for awhile.

The point I was trying to make is that the time to drive there and gas might not make the tires any cheaper. I know your dad, and I'm sorry he's no longer in the Fiero game. If he was in the bay area, I'd buy all my tires from him.

Actually i beleive tires and brakes are the most important things on your car.If your going to drive fast and expect your car do be predictable you got to spend the money and effort on these more than anything else.
The only thing worse than getting killed cause you were to cheap is to almost die and have everybody tease you cause you were so cheap.

Very true. With that philosophy, it makes one wonder about your getting the car into a 4 wheel drift at, shall we say, excessive speed on the way to WF. Oh well, we made it there in one piece with no real problems, so no big deal. Getting home was another story, though.

Just teasin ya, Pokey

Not a problem. No need to defend your position, it ain't politics in here. I wouldn't drive from Hayward to Modesto on a whim that it would be cheaper, either. Let your fingers do the walking, right?

I've got a couple of almost new Falkens if anyone needs front tires cheap... They are mounted on grey lace wheels so they'd need to be unmounted...

Pokey, I am supposed to go up to Tinay's soon. If I end up bringing the truck, I'll throw that fascia in the back.

i need rear 245/40/17
if you brought that up i'd be very grateful.Maybe i'll have john paint it and bring the front facia too.

I'm working like krazy to keep my head above water And keep everything iv'e worked for.Unfortunatly fieros end up last on the list.Being responsible is the suckiest.I cant wait till i have enough to be a kid again.
