those do look great.Of course we would have to learn how to sew. Main tools i found in tool box while looking fo a sewing machine. visegrip hammer bailing wire duct tape dull utility knife hammer crescent wrench piece of bar used as a hammer
I looked in my box and no sewing machine. Been thinking bout gettin me a new hammer though.
I used to use a treadle type sewing machine to stitch up leather.
I used it for holsters for my sidearms, a couple of guitar straps, a few scabbards, but I did the roll-up pocket sleaves for my wrench sets on an electric machine.
Now the seat cover idea is a real good one, but most guys can't sew in a straight line and sure don't know how to piece together fabric.
This leaves a pretty big potential market if you were so inclined
Nice job. And I like the speaker holes too. That was alot of work and looks real good.

OK YOU owe me new pants.... as I just shat mine ... hehehhehhehe
tell ya a trick I used that is deffinately a man thing - instead of using pins to hold the fabric together while sewing.. I used staples.. and if you wanted to avoid sewing i bet you could use an adhesive and use staples to hold it together while it was curing..
just a thought

there is a shop here that charges 100 bucks a seat to redo them.he doesn't care if you change colors or what not but he won't do anything but vinyl or cloth. I would like some leather.Anybody have a hook up on that kind of work cheap.

leather tends to be a tough one - you need heavier duty equipment, and the materials themselves are very expensive.. the material for both seats cost me a total of 20$ the rest is labor
