C'mon, this would be a big "messin with us" the other was just added to cover the suicide so everyone thought lambo doors. But this pic shows the car complete. It would take a lot to prop open the door backwards because we see the door is complete with mirror in that "calandar" pic

in the first last pic on page 13, look at the line that creates the mirror stand. plus the only way he could make that illusion of a suicided door is if he had another passenger door skin leaning next to the car, but you'd see it in the opening by the dash.(if the door was off)

I think that it's something else sitting under that shelf that makes it look like that... maybe not..??
<edit> If that's the mirror facing back toward the camera... Why do we NOT see any yellow from the car reflecting back...

with those doors, now the question is:

How tough will it be to get into this car? Its already slammed on the ground, 3 inches off the roof, and the dash and steering wheel will be in the way, i wonder how far it opens? Hopefully Archie will show many pics of this and its full openage

So if it's a trick, and the lambo door was a trick. Then it must have lightweight, easily removable doors right?

People....people....

why would Archie go thru the trouble to shave the handles, unless they would end up being useless with suicide doors.

The mirror angle and the camera angle determine what you will see in the mirror, and at this angle, I bet we are seeing the sail panel.

look at the molding on the door and the trunk, then use a little mind geometry, and you will see the door is attached.

Try as I might....i cant figure out the "something on the shelf" thing.

I stand by my observation.

Peace
DAP

Ok I'm in on the mirror being kinda hidden now. I don't have the ability to blow pics up here at work unfortunatly. I guess its just at the right angle to show the minimum of yellow on the mirror. The dark below it is definatly a shadow.
I wanna see the final pics NOW though....
Ummmmmm........Archie????

Stop posting messages until Archie posts! I'm getting sick of getting wide eyed, scrolling down the page expecting pictures and yet another post about suicide doors. I sure hope he hasn't done suicide or lambo doors, there's no need on a car like this. Simple, powerful, to the point.

Suicide doors are door that open up backards instead of opening regular the door pins are towards the back of the car just opposite of the normal way, lambo doors open up.

I think suicide doors are really cool.

I have seen them on s-10's, big caddy's, older firebirds. They all looked good.
Just the engineering to make them happen is enough to make me appreciate them alot.

Peace
