Awesome Archie! I'm sure it feels good, and you DEFINITELY deserve it. Considering how many times your kit has helped somebody else to get best of class, it's about time one came your way.
Congrats

BOOO!!! Arch, I can't believe you did that. How could you DISGRACE the club with them cottage cheese hoochies?!?! I'm sorry to all the guys, saw them up close...and it ain't pretty. They're all dried up and dark as leather...they're butts have saddle bags...you'd have to chisle the make-up off with a jack-hammer. GROSS! And believe me, I am FAR from jealous. I could just as easily get my ghetto booty up there, but you see, I have something they don't.....CLASS! Archie.....tsk tsk.

Outstanding!, Archie. The stinger shows the result of many years of experience and hard work. I think you should have your signiture embossed on the dash.

Nice job archie. One show, one prize, lot more to come! Can't wait to see it in Michigan this summer. Hmmmmm maybe I should see about going down to carlisle if the woman and my finances let me. Think a few members of the GTA Club will be going.
How hard to do the suicide doors? Love to have them on my GT.

I noticed the saddle bags, I feel terrible about what I did.
For some reason, I knew taking this picture would come in handy.

I don't know if I would consider your sig as "class" :P Nice shot Archie!
Congratulations Archie. With a nice ride like the LT1 Stinger you should be able to get all the saddle bags you want. LOL Now where have I heard that before?

Stupendous job Archie! Will the car be available for an appearance in Calif.? A world tour would be appropriate and welcomed. I also would like to know about the seat lowereing job. How is it done? Also, what tranny was used?
Archie, I think your automotive talents are above approach, but I also think you have an yet to be discovered knack for photography. Great close-up of the other attractions to the WOW show. Is that why they call it the WOW show?

Well we used a Getrag transmission on this car.
I would love to do a "world tour" I've thought of it several times but just don't have the time to do it like I would like to do.
As it is right now, there really isn't any Fiero shows out there big enough to make the trip worth while.
These are the pics I took of the seat lowering.
First we heated and "flattened out" the seat rails. Sorry, I didn't take any seat rail pics before we flattened them. In the front we flattened them out and are using the original holes, in the rear using the original holes would have put them in a bad place on the floorboards. So we cut off the excess and drilled a couple of new holes.
The stock Fiero floor ribs look like this. The original seat rails bolted down to the 4 studs (circled)
Here is the pic of the ribs trimmed and holes drilled for the modified seat rails. Due to flattening the rails, we drilled the front holes 1" in front of where the studs WERE mounted. Then we bolted the seat in and aligned it and marked the rear holes to be drilled.
We also welded some plates to the bottom of the floorboards (in the areas where the seats hold down bolts would be) to replace any strength that may have been lost by the rib removal.
I'm here to tell you that this makes a world of difference...... one of the guys that works for me is 6'4" and he can actually sit in there and drive it without breaking his neck.
Hope this answers your questions.
Archie

If you had checked out my original sig test, you would have seen that I am clothed. Also, for those of you who would like more proof (no swim suit shots for me) you can also go check out my old sig test topic (in off topic) for the whole shot. And that's ALL that you're gonna get. (Unless, of course, you come to the Dells)

I can attest that the Lady is cute (& married).
I'd like to move off this topic.
Lady, I think the reference was not to the pic, which is very nice, but to the text as follows: "Hey pretty....don't you wanna take a ride with me...through my world?".
I'm sure that text is from some song or movie that I haven't heard or seen but it could give the wrong impression to those that don't know you or the referenced text.
I have refrained from even having an opinion of your sig, until today...
The fact of the matter is the sig pic is intentionally "iffy" or borderline offensive. It was photoshopped to become more borderline than it was before.
The text BTW, is what put this over the top, IMHO.
I come in here to check on the Stinger while on a break in class, and nearly get nailed for "****". Now, I'm not saying the sig is ****, per se, but I AM saying it was intended to "appear" more provocative than any others here. And the sheer volume in which you post it and your challenge to every other female who's pic is posted on this forum illustrates my point.
Archie has a point, this IS the internet...I suggest you consider using more tact, for your sake if not others', and PLEASE refrain from using your sig EVERY TIME YOU POST. It eats up bandwidth and makes it take forever to scroll through a topic.
Sorry, but you're obviously wanting opinions, and this is part of mine.
