Hey Archie how about letting on as to what facia you are useing? I doubt it would be regular SE facia's just wouldn't seem right. So that leaves either Forumula facia's or you have come up with something new. Of course you could be useing GT with custom side skirts. Just commenting because there are no holes for the ground FX on the sides and I don't think you're going to go through the trouble of cutting them out later, since the car is painted already. Take care.

I'm gonna speculate...
Didn't you buy a convertible or Targa kit, a while back?
Is it gonna be a Targa choptop?
Inquiring minds want to know.

Looks incredibly nice. We're waiting for more pics.

I have to agree with the roof speculations.... something looks different. Can't decide if it looks more like its removeable, or it also looks kinda like its raised (a la Viper) in the center for headroom...just a bit. Man i don't like suspense

Nope.

Yes, this will be the Power Tour car.... It won't be my fastest car but it will be my best touring car.

This is an '87 coupe and the front & rear clips will be from the coupe. Although I have found and purchased several sets of IRM intergrated rocker panels, I have elected not to put them on this car because we wanted the totally "clean" look of the Fiero along the sides.

The roof in the pictures above looks kinda different because it has been chopped 3". With that chop the front "A" pillars (& windshield) are laying down 9 degrees more than a stock Fiero. Also the rear "B" pillars are laying forward at an increased angle.

Thanks for your interest.

More pics to come daily starting Monday when we get serious about getting it together before the end of the month.

Archie

I'm guessing much of the custom work is going to be on the front or rear decklid and/or front spoiler.

Because that's the part we haven't seen yet!

With those headers, I've gotta wonder... turbo? Something equally insane?

Arch-man, wheels/tyres?

Best!
Ben.

I'll guess that the interior will be a lot more radical than the exterior.

Are you going to paint the normally black coupe rocker panels body color?

Today we are putting together all of the underside of the car. You'll remember that we had cleaned and painted 100% of the bare chassis with a basecoat and clearcoat. The front & rear suspension, water pipes etc. have been powdercoated and we are mounting all of that stuff up today. Here is what it looked like this morning...... I'll post a picture of it with all the parts mounted later today.

Those are Std Sanderson headers , pretty common on Archies swaps.

For touring?? Put air bags in it.

Just Announced; wheels and tires being supplied by TRiAD Motorsports.

I'll let Archie fill you in on the details, if he wants to give them out.

@rchie, thanks so much for letting me be a part of this project! I look forward to working with you in the future.

Sure must be easier working when you have the space and the right tools, huh?

Love the body dolly. Great idea. It's almost a shame to put that car on the road as clean as that undercarriage is.

I called Dion's Psychic Friends. Asking about the '3 Mysteries'

1) Was told that Archie had bought the rights to the Pirhana interior from Russia, and will be featuring it in this ride.
2) Will be introducing first AWD fiero. Beware Subaru!
3) third mystery is one of Smooooooth's front lip spoilers.

I hate to ruin your surprise(s) Archie, but Dion insisted I post. It looks Awesome.

As I was reading some of the posts for the LT1 Stinger project, I read that you(Archie) had several IRM rocker kits that you were electing not to use for this project. I was wondering if you would be interested in selling a set, since no one can contact IRM and no one sells replicas. Let me know Archie
