I was just going to get on here and say I was the first to say suicide doors on page four. But looking back through the post it looks like "The Aura" was there first! I think in Archies first post he says " the first time on Fiero" They have done on other cars, and would just make real good sense on the Fiero, just open the door and fall back! And also seeing that picture for the first time with the black touchup, Should be a show winner!

If it's suicide doors, let me be the first to order up a kit!
Best! Ben.

Yeah, I was the first to say suicide doors, but don't blame me if they ain't there when its unvieled... If they aren't it would be a cool project for someone to try... If they are suicide doors, maybe archie will be offering a Kit for those of us who like to be different.
I know I haven't showed you many pictures the last couple of days because we were just putting together things that didn't photograph well. We've done things like wiring, Rear suspension installation etc.
Today we are final installing body parts & I thought I'd show you some of these parts today. Here we several pictures of the Warber style hood as we are installing it.
I'll put some more up tonite.

I'm going to have to agree with the theory that Archie is pulling a fast one. Just by eyeballing the depth of the door and car, and the shadows cast, it seems like the Lambo door is actually in front (from the camera's perspective) of the car, as opposed to actually being attached and hinged. But again, the photoshoped hinge which was pointed out earlier would suggest otherwise. Does anyone else worry about how much we all care about this car's door? I'm not sure if this is healthy.

Further looking into all these darn pics Archie has given us has led me to lots of thoughts. Mostly I have to agree with the odd door opening theory's and for many reasons.
1: As Oreif already pointed out the key holes look filled in.
2: I noticed something tonight while looking at the side pics of the doors. Those nasty ass peices of metal that stick out from the door seal's are missing. Which in my theory would inhibit the opening of the doors in suicide style.........
Okay Archie, you feindish devil. STOP TORMENTING THE MASSES!

Archie, are we going to see a nice "just born" video of this car when done? I picture in my head this yellow beast coming out of the shop door, V8 rumbling... pulling up to the camera (you driving of course) giving a thumbs up?
I won't ask for burn-out videos. Break in that motor first... =)
=)
Brett
P.S. I sure miss those old videos on your website! Back in my younger Fiero days, I remember this one... you sitting on the passenger side with a vid camera (or were you driving??? don't remember)... driver going through the first few gears... ....engine RPM's going up... Someone saying, "*HOLY!!!*... (a quick shift and acceleration)... GAWDAMNNN!!!!"
Good vid! You could see the camera move violently during shifts... awesome!
Ok, I'm done with my fantasy. Vids or not... thanks Archie!
