Currently, the only 'mods' I've done are to shorten the shifter and add a 'Formula' windshield banner, but soon this...
...will be looking more like this...
...after the Automoda convertible conversion kit gets installed. More notes and pics as things progress, 'cuz right now, it's taken too long to line up all these ducks, and I don't want to tempt Fate to jinx 'em...

Oh ya! If you look in the wheel well on the photo in my previous post you can see the transition from the quarter panel scoop. The large top one is to blow cool air on the front of the engine. The small one is to cool the brakes.
There are two scallops for the exhaust tips under the license that are the end of the 3’ set up you can see on the bench in the new photos. And the old notches under the bumper where the exhaust was have been widened about 10” to help form that ground effect tunnel

Uhh, I got remote keyless entry on my non-power door lock equipped 84 Fiero, still looks like it has no power door locks. I also have red interior lights, daytimre running lights, and glowing hood vents. Oh, I also have V6 exhaust on my bumper pad 84. Not many like that.
Almost forgot, I have an aftermarket sunroof, that does not leak or whistle, and is about 1/2 the size of the stock sunroof. Would trim rings count as a mod? I added them to my 13" steel wheels, they did not come factory on my Fiero, betcha I am the only person who has added trim rings? ------------------ Details on my Fiero here Member of the Edmonto Fiero Club Please rate me if I helped you!

This is my new Fiero key set. Fully functional The stock Fiero door key, the new ignition key and the keyless entry. I dont know how many others have keyless entry but the trunk and panic button are cool too This is the key from the Olds Intrigue with the anti theft system from the Intrigue transplanted into my 88GT.
I put a mini scorpion wing on my 1985 2m4 and I installed a viper security system that I got out of a junked tracker at an autowrecker(for free). I purchased some actuators and made my car have Keyless entry. There is also a side scoop from the fierostore wich you can't see on this pic. I've only had the car for 6 months so there is alot more to come.
Damnit, I was thinking of getting some of them SS panels made. I think I will still do it though. I work at a place that punches and bends SS parts, how many people would be interested in SS bezels? Polished Stainless Steel.
How do your panels mount Haze? I think that the one around the guages can be made up and replaced being flat, but the one around the vents/heater/radio, and the shifter surround would have to be glued or screwed to the plastic part.
If anybody has heard of the place, I work at Precision Design & Manufacturing in Westlock, Alberta.

When I first looked at those headlight doors I thought oh yuk there are those fake vents stuck on top of the doors again. On closer look, those are real vents.
Sweet!

What a great thread to start...Thank You...I just decided to keep my 85 parked in the garage until next spring so I can shave the side moulding and door handles and add remote door poppers.I have done a few things so far like....removed the antenna from the fender and added a cell phone style antenna to the rear deck lid and tilted it back some, ten speaker with two 12 inch subs behind the racing seats two amp twelve disc CD with remote stereo system, tinted taillights with twelve LEDs all the way across the back and sequential turn signals.I do have a bunch of other mods going on but the cars not done yet.You can see some of the mods by clicking on the link below.....I guess what I really want to add to this thread is, BUMP.... Lets keep it going....

Wow! Lots of cool stuff showing up here. Here is a side view of the rear clip I showed earlier. I had to make molds for the scoops and the door skins. You can get a better idea of how the car will look with the belt line removed and other mods To smooth the look of the car and enhance its race image.
I am pretty sure my sub console was the first here on the forum. Hadn't seen another before it.
Plus I am sure the right hand drive is reasonably unique on here As is/was the silver switches, vents, bolts and general colour scheme inside. Oh and the speaker pods on the doors. Plus the green needles was another mod with my home made white faces.

Although I don't have a decent photo of it, I've added a Heads Up Display "HUD", to my '87 GT. The sending unit was developed by one of the Forum members, but hard to implement due to the window angle and location of the sending unit itself. I have used a small piece of blackened glass (1 1/4" x 1 1/4")positioned at the back edge of the driver's side speaker grill and recessed the sending unit in the back of the instrument pod. It works great, especially at night. If anyone is interested, I'll get some photos an e mail them to anyone who pm's me with their e mail address. Ed
