Since we are going with custom dual mandrell bends and warlock bottle mufflers they had to be custom bent cut and fitted and that was time consuming but finally got it done beats giving it to the shop for what they are asking now to mount it and strap it in place for final fitment.

What is the part number for the electric choke kit. I still haven't installed one but would like to. It gets cold up here in Nova Scotia and the car is hard to start in the winter. I start it up every now and then through the winter. I too went with Bubbajoe's carb and distributor set up, but like you went with the holly only my isn't the shinny one. I am working on an exhaust using the stock engine exit down to a Y pipe with two short muffler's and a twist out the rear, all 2 1/2 pipe. I am using a open stock kand n air filter but want to go with a taller one with a K and N top filter also adding the mustang scoop if I go through the deck lid.

Man... that reminds me of when I modified an olds distributor for my 4.9 build
https://www.fiero.nl/forum/Archives/Archive-000002/HTML/20040223-1-027839.html

pics are near the bottom of the thread. It was a pain in the arse, didn't realize at first that I needed a 4.1 or 4.5 distibutor. The local yards wanted $75 each for the olds unit and a early caddy fwd.... I can't believe how much I spent on that "cheap" 4.9 build without ever getting it in a car...

nice looking build so far!

Time for another update after finishing the swap we ran into a first time problem where the flywheel was jamming the engine ,upon dropping the cradle I discovered the flywheel was too thick so I machined the back of it down only to have it chewing up the starter and endless other problems .Replaced it with a brand new flywheel and so far every thing is now on track, here are the result of that flywheel.
