Add to that the car was on it's way home from the Daytona show WITH A TROPHY. Makes me want to cry when I see it. What was the trophy for, Chester?
Second place in its class at its first and only judged show.

A car pulled out of a stop sign if front of my daughter driving one of my 88 T-Tops. She was only bruised by the seat belt. I got $8000 for the car from their insurance company since it was a rare car. Bought it back for $400 and sold nearly $4000 of parts off of it. I still have some parts to sell yet.
This doesn't look too bad, but the damage was a broken quarter panel, torn rear fascia, broken suspenison parts and a bent cradle. A woman pulled out of a stop sign into me and spun me around on a lawn. Insurance totaled the car and gave me $2600. I bought it back for $200 and have everything to fix it except a manual trans 88 cradle. If I don't find one in the couple of months I'll have to take this one to a frame shop.

I took on a light pole at about 70. Had a passenger in the car who walked away with me. The car was in good enough shape to drive home 4 miles. The pole was destroyed. I am still trying to figure out how the car didn't fold in half. I am just glad the car didn't hit the pole 6 inches farther farther back on the passenger side door.

Looked painful. ducttape, the quickest fix everytime
a different perspective. How bout underneath after the damage. I tboned a mid size buick a few years ago going about 40. I slid thru a light on a rainy day. Aka, black Ice. I spent a weekend pulling things back out just to get the hood open. I drove it like this for a couple years.
This is one of the pics I posted on page 2, but my 87 had some damage too:
I got 2000 euros from their insurance company (it was not my fault!), spend around 400euros on straigthening the body and 40 euros for new sidemarkers.
Luckily I was going to replace the gt nose for my new design soon and I was forced to make a new design hoodvent too because the old one was cracked badly. It turned out better but I wouldnt like accidents like these anymore.
