It's all good, everyone else seems to have missed it too. I was just trying to keep things a little simpler rather than work from two sources, but it's not a big deal.
I will be adding your link to the FAQ shortly. + for the link

A place where people can share what they have done with a how to, list of parts and what nots. Not really something where people can ask questions in, but more for someone to post on how they did something.
Just a thought Archer

The current idea is to get it as complete as possible for stock cars. Once that's done, custom mods can be tackled. I tried to get some how-to action going with engine swaps but, as with any mod, materials/procedures will vary a lot between applications.
What did you have in mind? Really basic stuff like oil changes and how to fill the coolant or more complex stuff like how to wire bla bla bla?

You can add Basic Fluid Changes, wires, blah blah blah type things
Then you can go with sub sections, like motor swaps. 3800,2.8,3.4 and so on. I know everyone does things differently but thats the beauty in it. People can add in the Sub forums how THEY did it. Its like the way of learning, One person can do things easy one way, but another person May strugle do other people may have a different way of doing it.
In that how to have a Performance Sub Forum for the Power guys/ Girls
Interior how to sub forum. Dash swaps. Let people show pics and parts list and what nots in a section. This way you can actually save space in the General forums without people asking so many questions about how to slap in a fuel rail. when they can go into a HOW TO forum, click on a Fuel/ Air sub forum, look around and see "Fuel Rail" or "Air Intake. they can click on that and read about it, print it out, Maybe put a Help topic in each sub forum for people to ask questions instead of fogging up the forum, for example
How-To- Motor Swaps- 2.8- Swap - Questions 3.4- Swap and so on Interior- Swap - (Then have people include what dash they swapped) - MISC- floor mats, neons, Painting, etc. Performance- Super Charging - Turbo - NOS -MISC- like pulleys, belts, pistons what nots. Exterior- Rebody - Restoration - MISC- lights paint decals what nots. Tires/ Suspension- 84-87 - 88 - then leave the rest pretty much open
Wire-Grams 'maybe something not so gay sounding' - Leace this one pretty much open for people to ask questions so others can focus on them.
But in all the Sub Catagories, have a questions section, so no one clouds up the actual HOW TO areas.
It pretty much cleans things up, makes it so you can come on here with something in mind, Know where to look, get what you need, ask the questions you need to ask, and move on to what you need to do. Im a full time everything kind of guy, Work, School, Husband, and Father. So when I need something, I need to find what IM looking for and get it. organizing things would HELP alot. But thats my Opinion on how I think it would make things easier. They are FAQs, just Catagorized Differently... It would also help on the archives when people buy the CDs, they can click on Tires/ Suspension, look at what they need, print it out, and do what they need to do! I hope this makes it easier to understand?
Hope I was helpfull, Thanks Archer

There ought to be a huge trouble shooting section... like a collection of every single problem, big or small, that any of us have ever had, and how it was fixed. We should all chip in $5 to pay someone to compile this (so yes, it should be comprehensive enough the work would be worth $50K), and then people should have to pay for month/ year long susbscriptions to the guide, proceeds of which would go directly to Cliff to pay for the massive amounts of bandwidths it would require.
How's that for an un-useful suggestion? Oh wait, I got mixed up there... nevermind I have nothing helpful to say.
When I first got my car my three biggest questions were: 1. How do I get the gas tank open? Took me 20 minutes to find it. 2. Are the brakes going out or do they just suck? They just suck. 3. Why does the middle of the car feel different, and why is the interior sound different, when the car is full of gas? Oh, right, gas tank.
Oh, oh... and what happens (esp. in the wind, or at "high" speeds) if you take the bottom piece off the 88 nose? Nothing.
That's about it. Then I found Fiero Forum and figured out tons more, including things I hadn't yet wondered about

1 was addressed in the FAQ
2 varies based on a lot of factors. The stock brakes can stop our cars in 170 feet or less (150ish for later years), which is pretty comparable to today's cars. It also depends on what you're used to.
As to that nosepiece, something will eventually happen depending on what you call 'high speed’. Our spoilers are also functional, but not until you hit 120. If you took your car to a wind tunnel, you would be able to tell the difference. How much this will effect every day highway driving is negligible.
Someone could devote a good year or so of typing to try to create "a collection of every single problem, big or small, that any of us have ever had". There's no easy/simple way to cover it all even for one year, model, and trim level. When you toss in differences between years/models, things get even more complicated. The FAQ is supposed to cover the basics, hence frequently asked questions There are also questions as to what you should cover (ie. how to unbolt your seats in order to replace them – that may be a problem for some people while most would chuckle if/when someone asked). A how to would be nice, but it would take a TON of time. Ask Ogre (see his cave at the bottom of this page).
Sorry if I come across as harsh, but I don't see myself devoting the time to do any of that, especially considering that I'm in the process of selling my car. The whole idea behind this thread (I posted this a few times previously too) is that you guys write the info and then I toss it in there.
Don’t get me started on audio in a Fiero. I know some have pulled it off (fierosound), but I can’t stand many of the ideas (building a box between the seats, building a box that comes off the firewall, building a box in the passenger’s side foot well). If you want more info on that, PM me and I’ll send you a small book
So, in short, if anyone wants to write a how-to, I'm not going to stop them. I'll even give you web space to host it in.
