hey... in the not to distant future i will be looking for another car, since a tripple threat of hurricanes took care of my station wagon.

i am considering another fiero, since i am single now and really just want a fun little car. plus i am alot more mechanicly inclined than i was when i owned my old '88

i want a 2.8 auto areo notchie, preferably an '88 but i'm not picky. one thing that i along with everybody else in the world, hate is the stock dash but i was wondering about a possible replacement. and was wondering what sizes i would need in order to make it fit.

any one have any idea how big a dash has to be to work?

here's the dash (and steering wheel) i would like to use:

i think it would work really well, especially since it has the little ceter section sticking out just like the fiero did. ( a styling cue obviously taken from the fiero in the first place.

any help will be rewarded with [+]'s or small single serve boxes of lucky charms (will not ship lucky charms...must pick up.

I believe the Fiero dash is 54 inches wide (don't quote me on that). A couple people have done Firebird dash swaps, and they look really good. Takes ALOT of time and effort to complete one of these projects. You should know a fair amount about electronics to get everything hooked up too. If you're set on using that Saturn dash, I think it looks good. If its too narrow or too wide, you can always cut, or add end caps on the sides. Fiberglassing would be a good skill to have for this type of swap too, incase you need to fabricate something up.
Hope this helps, good luck, and let us know how it goes

I'll agree to the 54" for a plus

That looks like a Saturn dash? Depending on the model/year, it's probably close to the 99+ Grand Am dash, which I can vouch for that it fits.

Here's a pic:
