out of all of the cars ive driven....(many) i still argue that the Fiero seats are the most comfortable(being so low helps...) I am actually sitting in one now, i took the passenger seat out of my car and i have a laptop ( i consider this my computer desk ) soooo.... who else thinks the Fiero seats are moi comfortable? if not what other cars are? ( i also have a nissan pickup, seats arent bad, but dont compare...)

Ah, the power lumbar is nice... The comfort is definitely up near the top of my list, along with a few 50k+ cars (Audi has some great air-adjustable seats)

My passanger seat is really comfortable. My driver seat is a pita. literally. something is broken in it and it jabs me funny. the paddings all been worn away, the recliner thing is broken so it just moves to full upright on it's own sometimes...but your right, when they are in good shape their pretty comfy
Is anyone thinking a fiero seat not being used well in a fiero lol to be used as a computer chair if you mounted the bottom of the rolling pc chair......hmmm

i usta think the fiero was hard to beat, but then i sat in my GTP with leather an lumbar, and i was sold, one of the serious deciding factors on me buying the car, ( bsides the $6k price and all the mods
come spring time i will be removing the seats from my GTP and seeing how they fit in the fiero!!!

To me the Fiero seats are not that comfortable at all but maybe thats cause I am getting old and broke down. I just took a 6 hour trip yesterday picking up a 88 GT and the ride almost killed me by the time I made it home. All 4 88's will have differant seats in them by the time I am thru with them. I have found the cloth or leather seats from the late 90 model TA's to be very confortable and fit well too. Those are the seats that will be replcing the Fiero seats soon.

I find my fiero seats to be fairly comfortable, however, I did sit in a Fiero with TA seats and they felt more supportive----some like the racing seats but I don't know if I would want to take a long trip in them.
To further say "Yep"... I think the passenger side seat is very comfortable, a friend and I drove 14 straight hours in my car, I was lounging back the whole time and I'm small enough, and the seats are large enough, that when my butt went numb I could move around easily and still be comfy. However, I think I'm a little too short to really enjoy the drivers seating position, at 5'8 I have the seat all the way forward and the seat leaned back just against the backwall... it's good for awhile but eventually my leg gets tired at that angle. A little higher seat might be better. But... The only seats I've ever liked better are the super adjustable seats in my dad's 90 T-Bird SC (did the LX or base model have different seats, not sure)... those things are fairly low, have just the right amount of support and the arms squeeze you like a big velour hug...
I find its not the seats that make me comfortable it’s the way they are mounted in the car. I hate seats that sit you up high and put your foot at an awkward angle. Having had a bad ankle problem for years makes it even harder to bend my ankle in some cars. The Fiero is like sitting in a lazy boy recliner. My wifes Dodge 600 has real comfortable seats but they are too tall and after a long drive my feet and legs ache. The same drive in my Fiero I get no pain.
Since these pics where taken I have changed out the seats, because I could not find more Fiero seats and those needed to go back in my GT. I now have these, until I get my GT some new seats. Can anyone tell what they are out of?
I love the seats in my 85SE. Definately the most comfortable. The next best were the electric seats in my 80 t'bird, mind you it was a sofa-couch on wheels. :} Can't compare to a Fiero
The worst was my 1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse. I think they furthered my need for a chiropractor. Back pain galore, even with lumbar support.

I made the mistake of sitting down in a new 350Z yesterday. Those seats (though I love the Fiero seats) beat the snot out of the ones in the Fiero. Of course, it does cost $39,000. They fit like a glove and even have a small hump between your legs (get your minds out of the gutter) that actually does help make them feel more...glove-like. But, in my price range, the Fiero stock seats are pretty hard to beat.
It's a matter of time before I install a set of late model Trans Am seats. My son had a 1999 T/A and a 2000 Firehawk and those seats were the best IMHO.

I like the fiero seats. Matt took a 85 seat with the headrest speakers and put it on an old computer chair stand. The headrest speakers are hooked into the computer along with the rest of the sound system. It makes for great gaming and music. I think he even put some better speakers in it too. Very comfy Plus when you get tired you just lay it back and take a nap.
I like my fiero seats in my Formula. Took the backs off of an 84' set added new 3.5" Kappas to the headrests and installed Mr. mikes.. best upgrade to my interior yet. To make them more comfy I added 3 layers of foam instead of the 1 layer thats suggested when you install the covers.
