------------------
1985 Pontiac Fiero 2.5 SE, 220,000 currently going under the knife to become a chopped hard top custom convertible, watch for the build up thread more pics of my 85 can be found here 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT, 141,500 miles!decklid window, silver guages. 1987 Pontiac Fiero 2.8 SE, 54,000 miles :( DOOMED, im cutting her up for scrap metal very soon! RIP
Have you ever imagined a world with no hypothetical situations?
Heh, did someone call my name?!? I'd be here sooner, but today's been CRAAAZY
Dis the deal come with any instructions?
My Advice: Do it with the Hood warm 'n wet. have a spray bottle handy, and don't be afraid to use it. Also have a good squeegie and a very sharp in (like a fine sewing needle) Lie it out flat the night before... Line it up, measure it a few times, find a very dust-free place, then peel it off.
Apply it from the tail upward, SLOWLY having the decal folded back towards you, adhesive exposed... use the pin to dispatch with any last remaining bubbles.
I had Paul Mckibben ( I bought a black one from him, which I put on the GT, and I wanted a two toned one, and he painstakingly created one for me (the decal on the Formula in the pics) . He also made two for the Yat Mings for me ...
DANG! I'm addicted to that symbol...
It isn't too hard to apply it, Send me a PM if ya need help, and PLEASE post some pics after you slap it on...

Where is santa clarita, I live in San Francisco. If you are anywhere near here, or near Newark, Bring it by i will install it for you for free. BTW I own Vinyl Options. We make and install decals.
in that case, 1- Clean the car well, you don't want any dirt left on the hood. 2. spray it down with soapy water. about a teaspoon of soap to a gallon. 3. remove the backing (waxed papper) from the decale, make sure that the backing doesn't get wet. Or you will not be able to remove it from the decal. 4. place the decal and the transfere tape on the hood of the car. (make sure that the car STAYS wet until you are finished) 5. Align it. We use lasers , but you can just as easily just measure it from each side making sure that it is equall on both sides. 6. Once the decal is where you want it to be, get out your squegee. Try to find a white one. The caramel ones are to hard for this application and the yellow may be a little soft. 7. Starting from the middle run the squegee along the back side of the transfere tape to remove anywater that will be under the sticker. 8 repeat 7 until you dont see any bublbes. 9. remove transfere tape, if the tape brings up the sticker then it needs to dry a little longer and you will need to do 7 again. 10. If you get a crease or a bubble in the sticker, dont panic. Take a heat gun, or hair dryer and blow a little at a time on the sticker. hold it until the sticker starts to shrink. This will happen right away so dont hold the heat on the sticker for more than a second or 2. If you have anymore questions either post it here or you can call me at 415-571-7380 ps if it is a bubble, you my want to take a new needle and pop it, then use the heat gun to shrink it

the plan is to eventualy put a pair of hood vents in to the areas beside the tail. i think that will really make il look unique. it complements my fender badges, and rear deck window perfectly.
I went a different route i designed my own and took it to a vinyl shop stickerdudedesign.com and they rendored it and cut it out and installed it for me... I've had this since 1998.... Gives it more of the 3D look to the Pegasus.

It's gold flake. It looks really metallic gold and it's buried in i think the 2nd layer of paint so it only shows up when the light hits it certain ways, it's really cool. I'll post up some more pictures when i get off work today!
