I think Bluegin from Va has a fushia(sp) colored Fiero. Someone at one time had the Rainbow Fiero. I seem to remember a story behind that one, but can't recall it now. KissMySSFiero-that is one ugly dog standing by the left front fender. You really should think about having it wormed. Poor thing's not much more than bones.

Are you talking about the girl sitting down near the driverside front fender?
Girl or not, I'd still say your one of the guys. Fair? No need for pics.
Aaawwww. *sniff, sniff* He said I was "one of the guys". I could hug you for that! Fair enough, dude.

Love the color and the design on the car, Helmet. The racing stripes are cool, especially with the contrasting color below. You photoshop guys are really great. BTW, what mods did you have in mind?

I've decided that I want my ultimate Babe Fiero to be a combination of classic style but also unique in it's own right. The options that I've seen on the various pic and build threads are mouth-watering, I must admit, but I want to have a car that's definitely all-Fiero, but still a head-turner. Y'know what I mean?
There must be the "classic vs mods" debate that goes on about just how much to change a Fiero and still have it be considered a "Fiero" and not a kit. Of course, you want to maintain the essence of the car--the lines and look that made you fall in love with it in the first place--but you also want to jazz it up and accessorize to make it modern, cutting-edge and cool. I'd never really heard of or seen Fieros until I went to a custom car show in Carlise, PA a few years back and found out that they were the donor cars for alot of the lambo kits. Then I saw some really cool ones at the show and, well, fell in love.
I think some of the "improvements" that alot of people are making to their cars (engine swaps, interior swaps, body changes, etc.) are great. This helps to showcase the versatility of the car--how many other cars do you know of that can be changed in so many different ways, but yet still be ultimately and fundamentally so unique and cool in their own right? Admit it, your cars are a reflection of your personality and are soooo much fun too.
My Babe Fiero definitely is going to become a uniquely feminine, yet classy/funky/curvey/speedster with a slammin' system, killer paint job, 17" chrome rims (love the sample 5-star pic Bazooka) and three-color-coordinated interior and trunk!
(HarryFiero--don't worry, your Mistress' legacy will definitely live on! )
I haven't posted here yet so I too will say welcome to the most informative Fiero form with the most members on the net. From the sounds fo it you would like to start out with something like this one here.
This is a totally restored 88 all factory with the exception of the side scoops (edited to add) and tinted sail windows. Even with a magnifing glass it is hard to tell there is over 182k on this car. The paint on the chassis hasn't been touched and still looks like it is brand new. It was a total panel off restoration and there is no rust anywhere now. It was a total loss when I bought it, hit heavy in the rear.
Wrap a chain on the check book and toss the plastic!

Great looking car! How long did it take to completely restore it? I've discovered that this forum has ALOT of information-- and thankfully, alot of people willing to help.
Okay--another question. I've been checking out the Mall and posts in general and I keep seeing different styles/models of Fieros listed---Coupe, SC, Formula, etc. What are the different types available & the differences between them? Any pics? Based on what I want to do, which one should I consider getting? Could someone point me in the right direction?

There are really just three basic body styles, with slight variations.
The original, '84, was a coupe. This is known as a notchback and has a more blunt appearing nose. You could get coupes in all model years and were the "base" models.
Next camet the "SE" and early "GT" models. These had the "aero" nose and rockers but were still notchbacks. The '88 Formula's also looked similar to this as well. Aero nose and rockers, but a notchback in the rear window area.
The later GT's were also aero nose and rockers but also had a fastback rear clip.
Which one you get is completely up to you. Personally, I like the Aero notchie versions myself because they're easier to work on and I just think they look the best, but that's completely personal taste and shouldn't reflect on what you like.
Most people agree that the '88 models are "best" and they have a lot of improvements over the earlier years the most significant being a much upgraded suspension, but if you want an '88 just realize that some of the parts are harder to find than for the earlier cars because there were a LOT fewer of them made than the earlier years that share almost all the major, replaceable components.

He forgot to mention Formula, which was an option group available only in the 88 model year. Basically, it was a package that allowed you to order the engine and suspension from the GT package in a coupe without paying for the fastback body and upgraded interior of the GT. Formulas were also approximately 100 lbs more svelte than the GT...

If you like the fastback look you want 86 thru 88 GT's Check your PM's girl! (I think maybe as Kissmyss would say)

Mis-Tress007 84SC. 84 Indy. 84SE.
The 84 Indy has it's own appeal for obvious reasons. The rest of the 84s are often considered the red headed stepchild of the Fiero production line. All Fieros can be modded to your own personal tastes, but 84s were different from all the rest due to the fact that the v6 was not an option that 1st year. Swapping in a different engine other than a 2.5 presents a unique set of problems, not the least of which is the missing wiring for the V-6.

Whatever guys can do, girls can do too. Only difference ... we do it in 3 inch heels, french manicure and backwards.
3" heels, ya baby!!!! The only thing you forgot to say to finish off this sweet little mental picture in my head was a little black sundress or teddy! hahaha
reminds me of those poor dogs that have to put up with being dressed up by their familys children.I can see the same look on that car as I have on the poor dog.

BTW, if we can't do it...maybe with a wink, a smile and a "pretty please" (accompanied by the obligatory batting of the eyes and helpless look) we can get a guy to do it for us! LOL j/k
Oh, I almost forgot the main reason for the Kim Possible pic in my last post---- We've got a Hello Kitty-Ferrari,

You just haven't met the right girls. Besides, stop wasting your time with girls and find some WOMEN.
What do girls do better than boys? Easy - they can get you to do whatever they want by batting their eyes at you. This thread is pretty good proof of that so far.
