The cop had someone else pulled over going the opposite direction. Many of us are very lucky he was already out of the car and writing the guy a ticket when we went by.

That aint no lie
Calvin saved me. He had pulled over to let some catch up and I slowed for him to get back on the road. As we both got up to about 50mph we turned the corner and BAM CHP was right there I would have passed him at about 80+

COOL pics ED

Heck I might just do the run again on my weekend just for the fun fun of it If I do I will get Video of the drive

Does anyone have Video?

I was thinking the same thing after I realized SJB is only 70miles from home.

The day of the run we had lunch on i5, that rest stop is only45 miles from my house. But add the 150miles of 198and25 up to SJB and back that adds up to ALOT of fun

Stimpy has a lot of video, but I don't know if he has any way of hosting it. We watched a little and it looks pretty cool (mostly cause I'm in most of it ) Its definately a fun run, I'm thinking about taking the motorcycle down there now.

You're telling me to have respect for the 4 banger? Who has several of them holding his docks in place? And I don't recall any traffic or twisties where you took off, unless you count those couple cars you got around before the rest of us did.

Yep, by the time we got to the cop, he was just sitting and waiting for his next victim.... Good thing we were not yet back up to speed... The only reason I initially pulled over was because I didn't want to be in front of led foot, race-instructor Brian...

Rickady - loved your car... great workmanship on the motor swap and the power steering.
Kit - I'll catch up with you at one of the GGF meetings. I'll try and attend the next one.
Ed - Nice pics.

I was right there with you; my speedo was showing just under 85 when I passed him. He didn't come after us, but you could tell from the look on his face that he was considering it...

I'm sure the guy just decided to cut us some slack. Also if he pulled one of us over he would have had to deal with all of us stopping and hanging all over the deal.

I heard mention from a little bird(large bird really) that the 2006 westfests location would be real nice out that way.I would agree with that if there was some housing at that fair grounds we passed.Just thought I would mention it it as an idea.
