Now that it has gotten colder I notice that my automatic shifter boot will not stay seated at the bottom. It is so stiff in cold weather that when in park the rear edge pulls up and when it's in 1st the front edge pulls up. All the plastic retainers are there and the boot is in good shape, just extremely stiff when cold.
What is a good replacement that will be softer and more pliable in the winter?

I bought the euro shifter with the black ball from Rodney Dickman. It makes the auto look like a stick. I bought a universal shift plate from advance. If you get real serious, I'll take a close up of mine for you.

Rodney Dickman makes a leather replacement auto shift boot...you might check into that.
